Ostara Blessings | It would be mid-July before high country snow melt would enough so we could enjoy the best of springtime in the rockies. Hot weather mixed with heavy branch-breaking snow would sometimes last 'til mid-June. We had two bird trips coming up, to Utah in April and Arizona in May.

Fabulous bold colors! Ahh ... spring at distant memory right now! We are suppose to get over a foot of snow next week, pair that with the cold, I'm hibernating!

Me too! 16 below tomorrow, but Mr Stone doesn't go wild for a hot pink Valentine and I thought hey, it's only FIVE weeks now until spring.
