While waiting for the paint company to show up (they didn't) we took photos of our flowers. Canna lilies were going gangbusters after a long hot spell, and I loved finding my first green bee on my sunflowers. They continue to show up every year, and coneflowers are coming back too.

Thanks Diane, the paint company project manager had to fly to another state for her grandmother's funeral and so upset she didn't tell anybody to cover for her. They came the next day and all was well again. Hopefully all painted next week. They just had to be straight about it.

Look at that coneflower! Gorgeous! And that green bee! I don't believe I've ever seen a green bee before! Now I have! :) Beautiful page - lovely story, except for the paint company! They needed to show up!
