This is a photo of me from 1962 and blurry as all get out, but I wanted to work with it anyway.

This design has 8 layers, not including the photos. The background is Whizzo Artplay Palette #2 augmented by a transfer and an artstroke—I blended my photo, added the extraction, slipped in the playing card and the leaf, and added the Button Threadz from the Whizzo collection to anchor the leaf.

Love the photo of you, the blending and all the white space. Also like that you're still have a few more Aces up your sleeve!

Does not look as simple as 8 layers. There are ways to use not so great photos and you have shown that here.

Thanks. This was actually a slide, which I scanned into a jpeg on a cheap printer/scanner, so really challenging as I'm sure you can imagine. Part of a gazillion boxes of slides (mostly of fish caught) that I found in my father's house when I cleaned it out.
