Title/Journaling: "a girl and her dog: a love story for the ages" using the Adore You font from Resistenza Type.
For AnnaLift Challenge 10, I reviewed the colors and other requirements. I decided that ArtPlay Palette and ArtsyTransfers Epiphany would have the rust and gray colors, and that ArtPlay Palette Heath would have the leaf green color. I really liked ArtsyTransfer #4 from the Epiphany collection and placed that on a solid color background from the Epiphany ArtPlay Palette. Then I found a photo that I liked, to go in that space. The challenge calls for a stitch frame and blended photo, so I used UrbanThreadz FotoBlendz Frames No. 2 to both frame and blend the photo. There are multiple layers in the frame I picked, and although I initially liked it, I ultimately decided to turn off the bright white frame and leave just the shadow of it. I also added some stitching from UrbanStitchez No. 13. Finally, I used Photoshop's pen tool to create a path for my text and added the title/journaling. Please note that it took me several attempts before I got a text path that I liked! Once the text was added, there was a shadow in ArtsyTransfer #4 from the Epiphany collection that made it a bit hard to read the word "girl," so I used a layer mask and a soft brush to brush out that one specific shadow to make the text more legible.
