I LOVE my new BLUE corner and being able to look out the window while sitting at the laptop now !!!
It all started with the blue lamp in the back
corner on the file cabinet... a bargain at JCP that I could not pass up even though there was no
place in my home where the color would fit!
Then I was given the circular yarn wall hanging...The chair that used to be in this spot I wanted elsewhere, so it was replaced
with the laptop cart which had been totally
in the middle of the room in front of the desk which is out of sight on the right,
once it was slid into place, I lined up the table
with the scanner. I dug out a
blue ocean photo that was given to me
years ago, by one of my first Internet dates
and put it in a white frame and then rearranged the items on the top of the Tiffany Bookcase, that once belonged to my
grandmother. Overall the feeling felt bare, so I went shopping for a curtain, and in the
process ran across the area rug and plush throw... They were perfect!!!
This also provided a place to hang
things in the window, the glass vase,
bought at the Saturday Market in Portland
was a gift from Chris many years ago, and the purple one from Teana, and the 3rd item, a fro licking lady chasing a butterfly
came from my last trip to Seattle...Tuesday Morning had a sale on office storage, thus the blue patterned files boxes...
