the Journaling says....The past 2 weeks I have found my self pretty much doing nothing but watching the Olympics and scrapping into the wee hours of the morning!!! Never very involved with the Olympics I have found myself totally drawn in this year....and have enjoyed every moment of it... So I decided I wanted to do a couple of pages commemorating this event, which required a trip to the Internet looking for images since I did not get to take my own... really looking for scenery shots showing the beautiful venue in the Russian resort town of Sochi, located on the Black Sea...the weather there has been much like our California weather ....with temps running in the 60s. Yes, it IS February!!! Well in looking at photos I happened across the upside down one, above right, of Misha Gasser of Switzerland and knew it would be perfect for an Oscraps challenge of a page focussing on something that was yes...upside down...and thus this page was born...the skateboarder on the left is Danny Davis, next is Jamie Anderson and in the center is Devin Logan.

I used AASPN_FotoBlendzOverlays5_3 in one corner...the rest of the blending was done with gradients with the images clipped to them and various blending modes that made backgrounds disappear. I added glitter sprinkles to similate flying snow that I got from Jan Maddocks when she was here, and the cracked and creased overlay by Lori Barnhust has been in my stash forever...the upper left title alpha is by Diane Young
