Nearing the end of our Oahu stay, we finally went up to the North Shore. The day started off sunny, but we had rain off and on from the time we arrive at Dole. Traveling round the famous beaches showed us the potential for that killer surf. We had massive clouds but not serious weather until we came down the east side of the island. The rainy hills were reminiscent of SE Asia with their verdant cover. We didnt do much stopping as we wanted to be sure to get back to Honolulu before the worst of the traffic. I hope to recognize the beaches next time surfings on tv.
