Process:
The foundation was prepared with sp3, Salute AT layers4, 5, Fabric transfers with black/white adjustment, and b/w image of Civil War on overlay blend mode. My family photo was added, duplicated on several blend modes, merging those layers into one layer to achieve the faded look, at 75% opacity. The Americana Notions USA Flag was placed behind the photo on screen blend mode, duplicated and set to overlay blend mode - masking parts off his face. WL was placed on luminosity blend mode 59%. MM Magic Sprinklez, Canon, elements, and text completed the layout.
