October First Reads: Last days to choose

I don't have any idea what to pick.

The only one I have definitely ruled out is this one:

Although the way my brain works, maybe a children's picture book is the way to go?

Have any of you read any of these books or by one of the authors?

Thanks for the reminder! I went with The Restoration Garden. I'm hoping it isn't too heavy...or too slow. I'm doing Southern Man right now on Audible and I am not moving quickly.

I ended up grabbing The Night Guests.


I feel like I have read a ton of historical fiction/mystery to be solved recently. This one is a good choice for the spooky season.
One of the reviews had me LMBO: "Too many dead people."

Haven't started either one but they looked interesting. I quickly ruled out the children book too but finding one to actually pick was hard.

Agreed about them all sounding good. I'm about 4 chapters in and so far I like it. I like the characters that are being developed.

Nope haven't started either one. I was gifted books for my birthday so I've been reading those as they were a series. I'm usually a month behind in picking my books and reading them. I pick them the first week and then dont read them right away. I still have Septembers book to read LOL
