Another drive-by greeting from me.
I am mostly packed, and only a mild-moderate case of anxiety over what is actually in my suitcase and what I have forgotten. I was texting BFF yesterday and she was enabling me to bring more and more. Her very valid observation -- you are not flying, pack everything! Leave it in the car until you need it LOL! and for real-- as long as I have clean undies and my meds, what else are "Can't live withouts?" -- Not even deodorant, my mom has no sense of smell
The weather looks to be pretty decent-- some sun and clouds but no expected rain. I can't say it's going to be dry-- cuz it is gonna be *humid!*

Good Morning!
Not sure if Chris will make it in here before she leaves for the coast today. But I'm up EARLY, so I decided to get the party started!

I couldn't go back to sleep after Mark left for work at 5:30, so decided to get up and get some things done before my OBGYN visit and I need to leave here by 8:45.....anticipation??? DOUBTFUL!!

Next will probably be a mammogram. I absolutely HATE those man-invented torture devices! Can I get an AMEN?!

So, I guess our life will be somewhat normal again this week after all of the woodsy work last week to get ready for the Fireside Fellowship that ended up being moved to the church due to all of the rain we got the days before! Bummer! We're already thinking about trying again before it gets too cold, but the menu will be much simpler next time.....hot dogs and s'mores!

Mark has already invited me to lunch today. I told him I should be done with my appointment by then. So I will enjoy my coffee until then! I usually make one 20 oz. container and sip on it all morning.

Well, I think I will go to the shop and look at the other color play kits and scrap something. I should do some laundry but just not in the mood! Yeah, I probably better before the rain moves in again and backs up the septic tank and causes the water to bubble up in the bathtub and toilet! Fun, fun!

Morning, all. Up and dressed and enjoying my 1st !!!! The kitchen sink is ready for the installer to arrive - sometime after 12PM. It has been a long week waiting for him to come to put the disposal in place.

Tomorrow will be a busy day. Will pop in early to get my challenge LO in the gallery and around digi-land before I run my errands. Sure hope that October will be a better month health-wise. September was the PITS!!! I am coming off of Missing In Action (MIA) tomorrow. Looking forward to see what DSD sales are. (Oct 1-3).

I am sure that my new PC Doc will also order a Mammo when I see her tomorrow. I hate it, too. Not sure if I am due for a bone density, too. This will be my first visit with the doc as my old doc retired early this year... so lots to talk to the new doc.

We have been having rain storms nearly every evening/early morning the past several days. Were under a flood watch most of yesterday evening and last night. So glad I live up on the mesa so that danger wasn't likely to happen around my neighborhood. Cooling off temperature wise (in 70's - daytime...50's nighttime's). Guess it is time to call a guy to check out the heater and get it ready for the fall/winter season.

Yeah, so glad youre starting to feel better and more normal routine. It has been a long week waiting on the sink and I'm not even the one inconvenienced by it. But I feel your pain. After being sick the last you needed was to be unable to use the sink.

Wish I was zooming down the highway to a getaway, but hey, I get to stay home so its all good.

Yep! Got the mammogram scheduled for day after tomorrow...same place now...3D also. She said Medicare pays for them now. They didn't when they first came out. Next time (2 years unless there is a problem, I guess) she will schedule me for both the pap and the mammogram on the same day to get it all done at once. That will be a good thing!

You got that right! But, it's all good! My BP was even good.....120/74.....no white-coat stress for me, LOL! Got the mammogram scheduled for Wed. to get it done and over with! Gonna try the new 3D version since medicare will pay for it now! Hopefully it will be better than the pancake machine!
