Hello, ev'rybody!
:waving3:

How is everyone today? I'm doing pretty ok. Me-- I am singing to myself, "I can see clearly now the nose prints are gone."
Guess what I did yesterday? If you guessed that I cleaned the front window where my dogs look out and bark at people/other dogs/squirrels/the wind/nothing at all, you are right! :wehaveawinner: The vertical blinds are usually closed but with a small angle of light coming through, so you don't realize how fast the window gets grimy. I cleaned that window as well as all of the coffee stains on the staircase. Those aren't from me. I drink my coffee downstairs, but the rest of the fam brings them upstairs. Huhn, I just realized that I spent the majority of my morning cleaning up other people's and pets' messes. At least when I clean for my friend today, I get paid to do it.

Monarch update: All five of the caterpillars are still munching on leaves, and we saw another brand new butterfly in the driveway. It's been very exciting to see so many of them this season. I am hoping that at least one of the plants gets a seed pod but I haven't seen any sign of that just yet.
@BoatLady Debby- when do your milkweed plants get them? Is it too early in the season for that?
My oldest plant came from a seed pod that Scott brought me from Weis when he worked there. :) I cannot remember if any of them produced seeds yet or if they have only been spreading underground. Either way, I love that we have helped the monarch population a little bit at least.

Big plans for today -- pay bills and then clean for my friend.
How about you? Anything more exciting than me? Watching paint dry is more exciting than my plans so I sure hope ya do!

@faerywings Yes that was a new emerged butterfly they flap their wings till them get firm then will fly off. That is so exciting . Congrats to you Monarch Momma!!!
I am extremely proud of all my 'pillar-babies. Here's the next one up:

@MariJ I wish we were getting close to 80 this week, but it looks like it's going to stay closer to 70.
I really don't like the cooler, darker mornings. Not at all. :(

Do you take a b-12 methylated? I am finding that its helping me, but my POTS are minor. I'm trying to convince my daughter to take it and see if it helps her more severe symptoms.
I don't-- I used to take sublingual B-12 but haven't in a long time. Can you tell me about/link me up to the kind you use so I can look into it? My symptoms are so random at times but stress kicks them up a zillion notches. Physical or mental stress. Some of which I can predict, others not at all. But if it can help me out at the end of the day when I am overtired and have to be on my feet to cook dinner, that would be a blessing!
I am enjoying my time. It was super hard to force myself to NOT turn on the computer first thing and get swept away in online life. But its been rewarding to start my day offline. I find the desire to get online less.
We do miss you here every day but I am happy that you are living your best life. Without us. *sobs* JK!!
Belly rubs to Nellie and I hope that the lump is nothing to be concerned about.

@vickyday Oh no, you need to feel better. I command it! LOL I wish it were that easy but I am hoping that you aren't getting sick. Sending you some tea and chicken soup!

Yesterday it was over cast and cool low 80's here so after working in the yard in the morning I decided to organize some files...I came upon this page I made for another digi-scrap site 5 years ago. It cracked me up so I want to share this page of my small family of bobble heads. It was a quiet day yesterday with a quick lunch out with hubby at one of our favorite Florida dive locations...delicious fish tacos by the river. I talked with dear granddaughter yesterday so that was fun.
Today I am getting my hair cut and want to trim the dead leave off my banana tree. I want to read...we will see how that goes. We are also going to HD to price up the last 2 windows of the house for hurricane rated windows...Then the whole house will be done including a hurricane rated garage door.!!! only 12 windows- our big house in CT had 26 windows that we replaced.
I got my new suitcase so I have set a few things aside for Germany...burrr I know it will be much cooler there so long pants. I have been wearing sneaker for several hours a day just to get used to it...I hate it so much..I love my flip flops and barefeet.

Feel better @vickyday

@AK_Tracy Good luck with the dog and make sure you let us know the results.

@MariJ Brrr...sounds like you are starting into fall a little early. I hope it warms up for you and is a easy fall/ winter.

@faerywings You will not get seedpods till fall I imagine, it's different down here. I get them in early summer and fall . they will self seed but if you want them in a certain area when the pods start to split they are ready to sow where you want. I leave mine and they come up all over so I just pull them out if I don't like where they are. When the caterpillars get big we call them Fat Cats and they will form a 'J' shape right before they go into chrysalis. I'm glad you are having fun with them.

Have a good day everyone.

Seems like that's what we women do.....clean up other people's messes, LOL!
I need to wash windows but Mark doesn't allow me to climb a ladder! And it is the outside that really needs the work! I may have to climb that ladder anyway!

Thank you! The throat seems better today, but the headache is back and the stomach seems a bit better at the moment! It is moment by moment with the IBS symptoms!

I LOVE the bobble-head page! Neat idea!
Best wishes on reading and relaxing today!

Good Morning,
Still morning.....can't believe it!
No lunch with Mark today as the old IBS is acting up again! I guess I'm going to have to start a regimen of the Gut Restoring tincture I have.
It warmed up pretty much yesterday in the afternoon. Mark and I roasted pork chops over a fire in the woods. They were delicious! I found them at the grocery yesterday in the mark down bin because the outdate is today. So we went ahead and roasted all 4 of them. Mark was going to take the other 2 to work today but didn't so he will have them for supper tonight. That way I don't have to cook!
I got my week 3 AJ challenge all set up and ready to go yesterday. That will release next Monday.
Got my auto insurance paid on line yesterday. Today I need to set up an appt. to get the inspection done so I can pay the taxes on the car and get the tags before the end of October. This is an expensive month for me, LOL! I usually take care of all of the car necessities out of my survivor SS benefits.
I do want to check out some of the challenges today since I didn't get to it yesterday. But first I have to make that auto appt.
Have a great day!

Good Morning Ladies!
Drive by fruiting
Quick hi and see ya tomorrow. Its Wednesday. We're making chicken cordon bleu for dinner tonight at church. its a casserole style mixed with pasta and everything cut up. It was a huge hit last year.

Me-- I am singing to myself, "I can see clearly now the nose prints are gone."
:floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: Great reminder I need to clean my French doors. Those snot prints are BAD.
We do miss you here every day but I am happy that you are living your best life. Without us. *sobs* JK!!

I miss being here and chatting all day long but I also really like being offline more.
I don't-- I used to take sublingual B-12 but haven't in a long time.
Yes, mines sublingual too, I get it at Costco, and take it every night. A google of POTS and b12 brings up a ton of sites and things but mostly hubs was searching out all it can do and its suppose help the myelin sheath that nerve travel down and he said it might help the CMT and slow progression of the myelin sheath dying off so fast. So I thought, cant hurt. Then I saw it was helpful with POTS and thought double cool.

It cracked me up so I want to share this page of my small family of bobble heads.
I love the bobble heads!! How adorable of a layout is that!!!!
I do want to check out some of the challenges today
You wont be disappointed. They are fun this month. Well, they're always fun but this month they really were speaking to me and super fun.Cant wait for the AJ to post next week. I will be sitting right here stalking the page for the link.

Thankfully my replies posted. My internet decided to go crazy when I tried to add my photo of Nessie.

You can see how big a spot they shaved and cut. Its only four stitches which seems too few but I think they also glued it. She's doing well, just trying to scratch it now so we keep putting shirts on her so she cant accidentally snag the stitches. I think she is less amused when we dress her than the actual surgery. Its not slowed her down at all. She wants to run through the woods and play with the other dogs. Silly girl, you gotta recover and not play hard right now. Around tens days we will remove the stitches. They said we could do it ourselves. So yeah, hubs will do that. We always joke there is a limit to funds a dog can cost. I told him that number was set in '97 and with inflation and such, I was still under the new limit. Sticker shock to get this removed. We now wait for pathology to see what it was.

@MariJ I wish we were getting close to 80 this week, but it looks like it's going to stay closer to 70.

Ohhhhhh.. I looked just now and while it said 80º earlier in the week, supposedly tomorrow we are getting to 79º. Supposedly being the operative word... Although that is Yahoo, iPhone says 77º hight. And yes! Me too, I do NOT like mornings that are dark and cool, my favorite time of year is that short time when it's light out at 5am, I love that! :beatingheart:

@MariJ Brrr...sounds like you are starting into fall a little early. I hope it warms up for you and is a easy fall/ winter.
Hi Debby, yes the mornings are cool and amazingly we had a way-cool last few weeks of August. We should have a few more warm days/weeks but I fear summer is fast leaving.. You know what I think about winter.
I'll answer your email soon! :beatingheart:
