So many of you have shared Ava's pregnancy and the frightening mass they discovered on her right ovary when
she first got pregnant with Boston.

I'm SO thankful and thrilled to be able to tell you that Ava had it removed today and it's completely and totally BENIGN!!!

A little history for some of you: When Ava was first pregnant, they found a mass on her ovary and she had to go to a Prenatal Oncologist in Tulsa! Just the word "Oncologist" scares the puddin' out of you, but "Prenatal Oncologist"? Anyway, they didn't know how it would progress, so the oncologist sent one of his associates here to check on it monthly. If it had started to grow, that would have meant danger to her pregnancy and we were just counting the weeks until the fetus was viable. The mass never grew at all, so the plan was to wait until the baby was born, then a few weeks later, go in and remove it laparoscopically, which is what they did today.

Thank you ALL for your continued prayers and here's a picture that I took this week of Ava and Boston.
