Good morning, O-Fam!
I am enjoying sitting and drinking coffee ATM since I was on my feet for almost 8 hours straight yesterday. Most of that was outside in 87* and humid weather. It was one of the first days I got home from work, took off my boots, and really felt how tired my feet were.
I was with the 2nd-5th Grade Summer Camp again but this group had a very different dynamic than the one we had last week. That one was pretty chill and enjoyed nature. A bunch of these kids were a little "aggressive," especially when it came to observing the frogs. We keep telling them to keep their nets away, and I gasped out loud when one of them smashed the net over the frog and flung it out of the water. The frog, that is-- I could have cared less about the net.
Highlight of the day-- we were out behind the main building at one of the fire circles. The counselor was giving directions to the kids for a game. I see the Mama bear and her 4 cubs walking in the woods just beyond the clearing. I calmly say, I think we need to go inside. Get your stuff and line up. Thankfully, they listened to that pretty quickly. The cubs must be about 3 months old now. Gotta say if I didn't have kids with me, I would have loved to watch them a little longer. She was far enough away and moving further along into the woods. I miss seeing cubs around my house. So cute and all roly-poly!

Dinner at my next-door neighbor's was a lot of fun. Also bittersweet when we gave my friend a card and a Visa gift card and she started to cry. Our other neighbors were there with their daughter, who is 15 months old and so stinkin' cute.

Today is going to be a lot of different projects and chores and all that good stuff. First up is yoga, then grocery pickup. Oh yeah--I have to rearrange my fridge before I head out for that. Then it's housework/desk work/Weis work/Oscraps work. If I have time/energy and it isn't too hot, yard work to end the day.

On that note, I should post this, do quick personals, and then off to my yoga mat!

Our BBQ was fun yesterday. We have such a great group of friends here. Everyone brought yummy food, we drank wine spritzers and played corn hole out in the yard. Later in the evening after everyone left, one couple stayed later and we played a dice game while enjoying a decaf coffee and baileys.
Sounds phenomenal! My BFF got an outdoor mister fan for the humid days on her deck and let me tell you, what a nice thing to have! Hopefully, you won't have this humid weather for much longer.
Are you affected by the wildfire smoke at all?

Yep, its posted.
I'll have to check it out!

We homeschool under an organization and they arrange field trips all the time. My youngest finally said that sounds fun. So we drive for hours, get on the train, ride for an hour, get off and hike back to a glacier.
That is amazing! Not the long travel part but visiting a glacier sounds so neat. Hope you all had a great time.

We're on the road.
3 hours to go before we stop for the night. We will finish the trip tomorrow.
Rainy trip so far.
You can't seem to escape the rain! Hope you see some sunshine today.

Well, David, who was complaining yesterday about being achy and a runny nose, woke up coughing and sore throat this morning and tested positive for Covid.
Oh yuck!! It's getting close to the time to get boosters again. I hope that he is feeling better and that you don't catch it.
How are you feeling about the presentation? Confident?? You should, I am sure you know your stuff!
Quick in and out today. Been busy scrapping. Feel like I am behind on the challenges this month...:hiding2: ...then realize I have about half of them done... and still have more than half of the month to go. :floorlaugh:
LOL! You crack me up! I am usually thrilled if I finish 2 or 3 of them.
Have a wonderful visit with your gals today.

hugs to everyone!
:hug3:

Well it sounds like a great "Faery-day" yesterday. 4 cubs yikes, we saw two and one of the family friends had 3, CT is overrun with bears, too. We saw them cross the road near our sons house several times. He has property on both side of the road we camp on the field/garden side while his house and rental house are on the other so we cross often. One time a bear was in his apple trees as we were eating dinner at the picnic table....kinda scary but interesting too. @faerywings Bitter/sweet dinner with friends but at least they are within driving distance so you will see them again. Those visits will be precious memories to add to the ones you already have.

@Terri M Oh no Covid is showing its ugly head again...I sure hope you do not get it too. Get well David.

@vickyday I guess I missed that you are traveling again, where too this time? I hope you have fun.

@AK_Tracy That sounds like an awesome field trip can I please chaperone? I want to see a page of that trip.

Well yesterday we left our son's house and started our slow trip back to Florida. We had a wonderful time with them and I'm so glad we were able to stay for Reeds birthday party blow-out.
We are in PA now for a few days I still have to find a few more places to camp.
Last night oldest grandson called to tell me he fractured and dislocated his index finger at work when the power washer he was starting had the cord come back to hit his finger. Off to ER for xrays they reset it but it was all day to do that. Off work today and light duty till he sees ortho Dr tomorrow. to me it looks like there is a bone chip in there.. I feel bad for him as his parents are in Greece now but he is 19 so should be able to handle it.
When we got here yesterday it wasn't long before the deer were here. poking around grazing on the grass at the neighbors site....I love it. she came so close to me as I was talking to her. I put out my trail cam last night so saw raccoons and the deer.
Last night we had corn from our son's garden....it was so delicious. I think it will be a lazy day here today but out for a nice lunch.
I made another page for the Monthly challenge and I have managed to get several done so I feel like I will be able to complete this month too.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Good Morning

Yes, please come its so fun!!! And yes, you will see photos and layouts!!! I took lots. I think between hubs and I we have 150 photos of a two hour trip :giggle4:

We had a blast yesterday and the weather was amazing! 68° and sunny!!! The breeze coming off the glacier was so nice as we were all hot. We hiked about 1 1/2 miles back to the glacier and by hike I mean meandered down a gravel path LOL Its a tourist destination now, not like back in the 90's when hubs was last there. We saw the glacier and it was crazy big still but we didn't realize the path went another 1 1/2 miles. Everyone stopped at the one side of the glacier and so we did too, not realizing it went farther and you could get closer. But it allowed us to be leisurely so that was better.

I feel good tired. Like a nice workout. I don't feel like death warmed over like I would have in the past. I'm really seeing the differences in how I feel since surgery and I can only imagine how it will be when I am totally done.

Well, need to grab some coffee and get my day started. Have a wonderful day!

In Florida with my oldest daughter and family. Clouds and rain have settled in for the afternoon.

Good afternoon.
Rainy here in not-so-sunny Florida! However there's a nice breeze which is helping with the humidity and temperature!
Got here around 4 yesterday. Enjoying time with my daughter and family. Went to the beach at sunset last night and saw dolphins feeding and a not-so-brilliant sunset. But still pretty.
Hope you are having a wonderful week!
I would attach a picture but my phone doesn't let me. Maybe later when I'm on the laptop.
