The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Good morning, my dear Ooos!
Please forgive me if I ramble more than usual today. I am an emotional mess and my usual strategies to stuff it all down aren't working.

Maybe I wont ramble at all and just wish everyone a wonderful day.
That's actually the best option for all of us. heh!

I am working this morning at camp training and then I have to get ready-ish for the wedding tomorrow. I started making the card for Jen and Jake, which led me on a long, crazy trip through my Photos. I mainly looked at Caitlyn's wedding photos and had to ooh and ahh over so many. Mainly, I was getting all emotional over the ones of Dani (DD of my BFF who is moving) and Julia (niece/DD of BFF who's mom is in the hospice).
Gary is super excited about getting the patio repaired and has been asking me what I want to do with it. Do I want a new small table and chair set? A new planter box? A new bird bath. Meanwhile, my brain is sparking and sputtering and I can't give him any answers. I am not coping well, am I?

Hopefully, today will be a little easier.

HAGD!! xoxoxo

@BrightEyes I haven't even had a chance to look at the July challenges. Which ones are you doing?
*grumbles about the firesworks* I can usually tune them out in the distance but when the neighborhood people light them, they make me jump. Meanwhile, Jaida is traumatized. I have to give her Trazodone on the 4th.

@AK_Tracy Yay for your line-dried clothes!
That's a great idea of just using the bottles and whatnot you already have and just order the refills. The starter kits are always do dang pretty though. :D

@bcgal00 Yup, you always are so busy! Good luck at the market this weekend.

@vickyday BFFs mom has dementia and a history of brain bleeds/TIAs. She had a stroke on both sides of her brain last week and isn't recovering. The speech therapist did a test to see if she could swallow at all, and she couldn't.
Two weeks is a long time, isn't it? :crying1:
Glad you had fun with Ilene, as always!

Good morning, doing a quick read-through and sending thoughts and hugs to you, Chris.
Hoping your day and you feel better soon. Hang in... :heartpumppink: :beatingheart: :heartpumppink: :hug4:

Yes. Two weeks is a long time to watch someone disappear. I almost think it would be better for them to go suddenly.

Good morning,
Woke with a terrible headache this morning. Canceled my plans with Ilene to go to Costco. Plus it's raining cats and dogs here. That's good and bad. We need the rain but don't need flooding of our basement.
Still working on my scrapbook organization. Have several set aside for my daughter to take home with her for storage. She is the oldest of the 4 kids and the only one interested in them right now.
Have a good day!

Morning, all.
Yesterday was a good day... Lawn guy and helper arrived at 9 AM and was finished by 11 AM. They did a great job on pulling weeds, cleaning up everything and trimming a couple of bushes... and hauling it all out to his trailer. So pleased with his work that I will call him in the fall after the leaves fall. :girldance: :claphands:dance4 Then I ran a few errands.

DD#1 and DD#3 worked like mad at grandson's house. The roofers got the new roof on in one day (they had a big crew) so it was done before the rain hit in late afternoon. The girls came dragging in around 6PM and were happy that I had a taco dinner waiting for them. DD#3 was worn out so she spent the night here. Today is the big push to get the stuff moved from the garage back into the house now that the painting, and other repairs are finally finished.

I am way behind on printing out pages for hubby's Memory album... I had run out of cardstock to print them on. Got it last week so may work on printing them and get them in his album this week. His birthday is next week so would like to be caught up by then.

@faerywings so sorry about your friend moving and her mom going into hospice. Keeping you and her family in my thoughts and prayers.

I got Challenge 3 - Web Inspiration and Challenge 7 - Free For All done and uploaded. Plus I got NLD's 4th of July LOs done. Will be thinking about the Art Journaling challenge and some of the Designers' Challenges. It is always fun to see what new challenges come up each month.

Oh... hear the girls stirring... BBL

Good Morning O!
:sunnyeyes::sunnyeyes::sunnyeyes:
Its a bright beautiful day and suppose to be 72° here, which is crazy warm for us. Slightly bummed I still have scabs from surgery as it means no swimming in the lake. Its the perfect day for it!!!

I am an emotional mess and my usual strategies to stuff it all down aren't working.
I'm so sorry youre having a day. I found an sappy movie works wonders. Its two hours of emotional release with out anyone asking you why youre crying. I use to watch Beaches all the time. Was a great crying movie and I wasn't asked why you crying. Crying over a book works too but my family looks at me like I'm crazy. I hope you find a release for your emotions though, dont stuff them down. They just come back up like a bad burp. :hug3:
Good morning, doing a quick read-through
Hi :waving1 How are you?? Surviving pool side and staying cool?
Woke with a terrible headache this morning.
Oh dear that's not good. I hope the rain stays out of your basement. That would not be fun on top of headache.
It is always fun to see what new challenges come up each month.
I agree 100%. I love seeing what new challenges or spin on challenges they come up with. Your house sounds like its super busy right now and I dont know how you have time to scrap.

My computer tells me its almost full again leading to my "scratch disk" being full and I cant scrap well. So I've been super drastic and backed everything up saved all my kits on two hard drives and **Gasp** started deleting them from my laptop. I swear I was aggressive and deleted hundreds (okay maybe 20) and thought I have them saved on EHD it will be okay. In theory I could delete them all and be fine. I dont use them off my laptop I use them off the EHD when scrapping anyway as thats where they're all organized. I didn't get much space freed up last night. Maybe 10gb so now I have 20gb total and I dont know if its enough free space. Its crazy. I'm afraid too as the ones I dont use often, I didn't save the zips cause I didn't know to back then. The site they were bought at is gone so I would have to buy them again if I loose them if I can find the designers again and ugh the stress yet I cant scrap multi photo massive layouts that I love to do at the moment. The stress of too many kits on my laptop.

Off to grab more coffee while I ponder if I am brave enough to delete more off the laptop. Have a wonderful day!

Hi :waving1 How are you?? Surviving pool side and staying cool?
Hey Tracy, surviving yes, even me who as you know loves the heat finds recent weather trying. Funny thing is, last week under that awful heat dome we had temps to 100º and "feels likes" as high as 106º, all with high humidity. Pretty miserable....
So this week were running 96º, 94º, even 90º and we're talking about it being "cooler". I'm still feeling miserable and suddenly say, "But that's STILL hot!" :rotfl:
Pool side has been hot, so for once I'm spending more time at our table in the shade. Our pool usually gets these great breezes so it's "comfortable", actually not bad at all.

Now, how's that for a long answer to a short question????

Hugs to you, my friend. :beatingheart::hug3:

OMG i have missed all of you. All I have had time for is reading your chatter.

First of all @AK_Tracy while back you talked about puddles....at least they were not dog puddles...LOL
I glad you are enjoying some warmth but it is sad that you cannot swim while the weather is warm. I was like that when I had my hip replaced. DD and oldest GS came down to help me but I could not go in pool...they did so that was good.
Yikes I hate when my computer had problems with scratch disk. good luck with your transfers.

@MariJ stay cool this east coast had been hot!!! really hot here in the NY Adirondack Mountians too. Enjoy your pool time.

@BrightEyes I do not know how you can keep it all straight with everything you and your family are doing now

@vickyday I've loved your adventure pages and I'm glad you are back with only good stories to tell.

@faerywings OMG you have so much sickness stress now...so sorry about all the troubles your loved ones are having. Hopefully no one suffers. End of life is never easy but it sounds like you will be there for your friends ...so nice. Hugs to you for being such a good loving person. Your neighbor friends/family moving is a stress too. I wish you all well.

Monday we left our son's house in Ct with their son to come N to a crazy kid campground. We are by the river so it has been great cool and pretty. We brought his mountain bike so he has been riding around and met some other riders . We went to Fort Ticonderoga a revolutionary war fort on Lake Champlain. We were here with our kids about 40 years ago ...wow huge changes so much more educational. Plus we came through here is 2013 in our boat when we cruised to Canada. We had campfires every night and made smores and grilled food. He pulled a tooth out but we didn't put the $100 under his pillow like his dad does...it as a small tooth so $25. We have played cards. garbage, slap jack, and of cours war. today we went fishing on Paradox lake the super nice lady went to her house and brought him a special worm to use ....bam he cought a 14' large mouth bass. We went to lucnh and came back to fish so didnt' go well so got bored. back at trailer he helped me with laundry then to dogs for a quick dinner. Tomorrow off to our son's Mc Cabin for a weeks they are coming up tomorrow night so a nice long weekend with them.

We will have NO service but they are getting internet up there on the 9th so will try to check in then.
