Another frigid morning ( -3*!!!!), and another day where J jumps around to go out, but will not even stick her delicate, little boop nose outside. As I stand there with the door open cajoling her to go potty.
I hope my car starts this morning. It took forever to turn over yesterday and it's even colder today. This arctic weather is the pits!
Can I tell you all again how *relieved* I am that HS was canceled this session? How many times is that up to, I think I lost count. But lemme say it again for the people in the back: I am SOOO relieved that HS got canceled because it is too cold to be outside at all.
*tally marks to one million*
Since I had set aside time to work on lessons, I ran two of the experiments and took pics of them for FB. I did the jello/insulation one-- you make jello and put it in cups. The cups get placed in a few areas and then you time them to see which one sets up fastest.

Just popping in and out of my house to put the cups in the snow had me shivering my butt off. The other one I did was the "blubber glove" where you put a layer of vegetable shortening on your hand, cover it with a glove, and stick it in snow/ice water.

But I was happy, I spent two hours on planning and prep for the first two weeks of HS so I am off to a decent start. And yup, I did feel much more productive. "Productive" was the word I chose as my focus/intention during my yoga session so ... *pats myself on the back* Take the wins when you can, Faery
I'm cleaning for my friend this morning and then some stuff around the house in the afternoon. I'm thinking baked macaroni, garlic bread, and a salad for dinner.
BFF has appts with the radiation oncologist and the medical oncologist today to see what her next steps are. It's not easy making those decisions but I'll be there if she needs to hash it out.
Have a fantastic day and stay warm if you are in the US!
