Yes, it is Thanksgiving Day in the US and I am feeling a little (sappily) grateful. The house is quiet ATM and I am taking time to breathe before it gets loud and chaotic and filled with the people I love.
It's all good
It's a good thing I have this time now because I was exhausted yesterday. I told Gary that it was the first time I felt truly Lyme-y. I didn't do all that much but my guess is that the workload of the past week was cumulative. By noon, every last POTS symptom I had was at 11.
Not too much to do this morning-- I have to set up the folding table and get plates/utensils out. "Turk'y" and sweet potatoes in the oven at 1 pm. Reheat and remash the potatoes and get them in the crockpot to stay warm. Should be good!
Sure, it is a lot of work, but I am happier being here than having to travel.
My friend across the street texted me last night that it's just her, her DH, and her DS today. DH wants to be done by 3.30 and her DS won't be home until 5.30 so I told her to come over and hang with us too. Told her - like I told everyone-- PJs are 100% acceptable attire.
Every day, I am grateful for all of you. Your support through my good moods and bad ones means the world to me.

I know I made plans to post but some how the day slipped away.

Glad you aren't that bad-- yet
And pumpkin pie is not the same without it.... So decided to wait to make the pie until I get Cool Whip.
Will unveil them tomorrow.

Hey, I think PJs are the right dress for the Thanksgiving meal like you told your friend!! Sounds like you have most of the meal prep done. Let others do the what needs to be done and you take it easy.
I am sure your family will help you get through this holiday and give you some wonderful memories as you celebrate together.
and then more

I hope you all have lots to eat and enjoy the day with the people you love!! It is a very foggy morning here and the temps are a bit chilly only 1C, guess that's the reason for the fog?? I have to complete my layout that I started yesterday and work on a couple more Christmas Cards, but it should be a quiet day for me and I am just fine with that! I did get some things to make my own ugly Christmas Sweater at the Sassy Lion thrift store I will post a photo when I have it completed! Here is a photo of the little tougues that I am making for stocking stuffers you place a Lindor Chocolate in the bottom, they are kinda cute!

from across the miles!
I hope all your symptoms are calm today and youre able to enjoy family and friends. Nothing worse then hitting an 11 and knowing youre not done with the day.
