Anyone doing this? If so, how? Do you do it old-school with pen & paper, using a printable or using an app? If you use an app and like it - which one?

What are you tracking?

I've just quit WeightWatchers ... cuz it's expensive ... and you know how it goes: gaining weight by the minute here! I want some kind of tracking thing to help me from eating at night, eating more fruit (instead of snacks, cookies & candy) and maybe my water intake.

And yes I know, I shouldn't buy stuff I shouldn't eat, but the weird thing is - as long as I'm counting my points, I can have all sorts of stuff at home (I like buying when it's cheap and store for future "needs") and not eat it. But it's like when I'm not responsible to that WW App ... I totally lose control.

There gotta be a way to motivate me, without having to pay 249 Swedish Krona (about US$29) every month!

Any ideas are welcome! <3

I was gonna suggest SparkPeople as I used to use it. But ti seems that it closed all it's communities and apps a couple of weeks ago.

Not sure if the plans are the same all over the world? I was on blue. Tried purple for a while, but that didn't work, and went back to blue. Lost a lot (approx. 17 kg) between July 2018 and February 2020, when I stopped. All was well, but then in April, I got Covid. Wasn't that sick (Urban was worse), but I gained a lot of weight back. Mainly because my anxiety kicked in, and I eat a lot then. Went back on WW for 6 months (they had a special, sign up for 6 months & pay for 3). But it's harder losing weight now. Probably cuz I've entered menopause. I still weigh about 8 kg more than when I got Covid. We'll see if I lose it or not. I'm really not motivated right now.

havent been around m uch this weekend so sorry for getting back to you late

totally understand about menopause as i cant lose either. Wanted to try WW - blue but it is too costly. so started searching for alternatives I found a site that has an online claculator you can use and also calculates how many points you get. then i found about about itrackbites. it is essentially WW but under a different name. Blue and green is easy to do on it but purple you need to do a workaround. iti s an app. the free version is limited but you do get the scanner. for blue you do need the paid version. think regular price i s 30/yr NOT 30 per month like WW but i got a special for 19.95 a year. There are forums on the app and lots of FB groups for support

think about trying the free version - you have nothing to lose.

the web site just has some info on it - https://itrackbites.com/

wahtever you do i hope you do lose

I track my calories through my fitness pal. There’s a free side to it. It has an app….. it may have a website not sure….you can also track water intake and exercise.

I used Lifesum app for a long time. I just rejoined weight watchers online as they had a special for $15 a month for a lifetime price. It helps to have zero point foods to fall back on when I am hungry. Plus there are lots of recipes online that I love to have access to.

I have a habit tracker app called "Habit" that is nice for tracking things like daily movement, getting your water in, etc. It wouldn't work for food but it would work for days "on plan"
