I couldn't resist making Jean's Apple Nutty Bread this morning. I had all the ingredients and it turned out delicious! Thank you Jean for sharing this recipe (and for your recent layout) and Felis too for making a page about baking this bread earlier this week! You have both inspired this layout (and my family was so happy to have such a treat)!

That was easy peasy, I literally copied the text from one of our Daily Oooo's Chatters threads.



First, I have to thank you, Joanne, for make me scrap at time when I totally didn't feel it at the beginning, but then I really enjoyed the process! And also I know I'm saying this every time, but I really wish there was doodles kit with boy and girl, dog and cat, it would fit so well on this page! :roll:

Joanne.... I ran across these challenges last night.. a bit on the late side... I am forever grateful to you for the push a few years ago, to get started on scrapping my family's life from my Wedding Day... When I saw this , I thought perhaps This will get me started on the next album... Started in 1961, I am up to 1971...scanned 71 photos today... The challenges are fun, but I really want to get things done , that need to be done, not just play... Obviously some of the fun subjects would never fit for a 1971 page, but some do... Is it ok, to do something that loosely fits, but is NOT spot on.. for instance, the food one will have to be Birthday Cake? Liz

I adore this!! Your page is so colourful and the quote is so true at all times and especially now! I owe an even bigger thanks to you for joining in this challenge with your beautifully creative and inspirational journal pages. Your posts and your pages have been such a highlight for me this past week!

Your suggestion for a doodle kit with each of those is noted lol! I can totally see me using those doodles too!

I remember the project you worked on a few years aback and was so inspired by it! YES!! Please feel free to be as creative as you want with any of the challenges. They are just there as inspiration, how and what you scrap with each inspiration is totally up to you and will be most welcomed!! :)

This is a beautiful quote and page! And thank you for reminding me the very same thing! Art is so vital to me, both creating and admiring in others. It helps so much.

My entry for feathered friends used a photo of the barn swallow pair that uses my house as their AirBnB every summer for the past 3 years. This year they are very early. Maybe they'll have 3 broods! The nest is right outside my front door, I can step onto the porch and take great photos. They seem to be very comfortable with me now.

Thanks, Joanne, pets even birds can be very comforting at times like this.
