Talk to me about trends. Make-up, fashion, decorating, books, TV or scrapping, doesn't matter! I feel like I live under a rock and by the time I catch on to a trend is waaay past expiration date. :rip:

So what should be on my list of things of what not to miss?

M O U S T A C H E S !!!

whenever Maya and I are shopping she goes craze with every moustache she sees, Tshirst, Jewelry, even scrapping!

Chris - Here's my number. Call me maybe?
The kids showed me the Obama Version of that a month or so ago-- too funny. I did hear that there are lots of versions of it now

Ellen-- plenty of room under here!

Diane- Cait too, she has that "I Mustache You A Question" t-shirt.

I have no idea!!!! my poor grandchildren, they may never be very "cool" in school..I just don't have a clue anymore!!!

I am too old for trends....it's all about COMFORT for me!! :becky:

I wish I could "Like" Eva's post. :-)

What I can see is from my student's. There's a lot of 80's throwback going on right now. Neon colors, leg warmers, side pony tails, off one shoulder shirts, etc. It takes me back to my childhood.

snort...what Eva said. moi?? i wouldn't recognize a trend if it smacked me in the head! but elastic waistbands are fashionable in the circles i move in....

My two were singing that call me maybe song. And Syd went to the first day of school in black high top gym shoes (from basketball this winter) and long, fingerless gloves in different colors. Don't know if she is trendy or goofy...perhaps a bit of both. ;-)

Well, 80s and fingerless gloves where the two things I never thought would resurface LOL

Oh those silly one piece suits. Don't know if they called that in English. Looks like huge baby clothes. LOL

LOL! I know what you're saying Eva. I don't know the right fashion term...jumpsuit? Coveralls??? ha ha ha. I'm too short and fat to wear those things!

Rompers-- Cait's friend wore one to the beach.....

I see that 80's clothes are back too!! Now if I could just lose 20 pounds, I could head into my attic and find my old clothes hahahaaa!!!

Checked this forum thinking (strangely) that it would be trends in scrapping
:pout:

Silly me eh? :ear:

I'm with Nana, COMFORT and Phylis ELASTIC waistbands

Fashion is not a priority in my life at the moment - when I was Consulting Engineer's wife dressed in the latest thing. DH was the one - he liked us to dress in colour coordinated colours yet!

Now the main item on my shopping list is new pajamas. Flannelette, comfy ones and new soft slippers.

Trends - :sorry:
