OMG I can't wait I'm such a HUGE fan!!! I wonder where George is then??? This is one of my favorite shows... thanks for posting this Laura!
 
I had heard that TR Knight was leaving the show, but hmmm...now I'm wondering if it was a PR ploy?!

no, i'm sure he's gone...imho, if you look at the preview of the two hour opener, there's a scene of a funeral...you know he's gone... :)
 
I think he's gone too. I just hope that he went off with the Army instead of that horribleness. Ugh!!!! We'll see in a week i guess. A week seems so long.
 
Ughhh...I can't wait for this to start! I LOVE this show! As much as I love George...I think he's gone. :(
 
I'm sad that George is probably gone too. I hated watching them make him boring and decrease his story line. He's always been one of my favorites on the show.
 
OK, I was hoping against hope, but the ABC episode guide says:
"Members of the hospital staff find unique ways to deal with their grief at George's death; George's mother faces the daunting task of deciding what to do with his organs." So, it's definitely him.

I will miss George, but I really like the Lexi/McSteamy storyline and Christina/Owen too. I can't wait to see what happens this season!

OK, so I'm 2 seasons behind as it's not on free TV here in the UK so I haven't been able to keep up since leaving Singapore. Ahhhhhhh. The last episode I saw was Cristina & Preston's non wedding, so I am really going to have to NOT follow this thread!

I think in the NL they didn't put the season final on the tv. I can't remember seeing the final seison 5?

{sigh} I thought for sure it was Izzie who was leaving the show, until I read a long interview with TR Knight in Entertainment Weekly last month.

When does it actually begin here? My TIVO is sure getting a workout on Thursdays - it seems like almost everything we watch is on that night!

I've watched it last monday. Since almost everybody is ahead of the NL, I can just write it here?

It was the episode with the John Doe, who jumped in front of the bus to save that girl. When meredith found out who he was! I was in SHOCK. Totally shocked! I think I've never had this feeling with an other show I was following.

Damn..
 
yeah, Yvon...I couldn't stop mentioning it after I watched it!! Cora was giving me heck about the fact that I couldn't stop saying "I can't believe it was..."

Lucky us in the Netherlands. They stopped in the middle of the season. So next monday is the 1st episode of season 6! I CAN'T wait!
