Whew- one day day, 179 more to go LOLOL! The kids got off to school quite well. Not sure how much they enjoyed it... but I know they were happy to see all of their friends.
6th and 8th grade... wow. I have to upload my pics today. None of Scott of course, but some cute ones of Cait and her BFF.

Today the moms are going to the beach- the lake is open 12-6pm until Labor Day, so while the kids are at school, we are goign to get in a last day of sun in peace and quiet!! Usually our kids go back after Labor Day, so this is a first:)

Linda W- oh good for Sharon. I would imagine she will be much happier at home. Good luck with the babies- I know you will do great.

Clara- guessing you won;t see this til Monday- but feel good and have fun!!!

Hi Sally!!! My kids were asking to be homeschooled the other day.... ;) But man, I was soo happy to wave good bye to them yesterday!

Andrea- oh no, poor Atha!!! hope she didn't have any reaction. Oh- just scrolled down and read that is good. Whew!!

Whew Kat- that is a relief. And one good thing about Elem School is that IMO most of the nurses/admins/lunch staff have been exposed to this situation before, due to the sheer amount of kids who they see every year. Hope it goes great!

I am not getting numbers (good thing b/c I'd get them all screwed up) but I am getting a letter, over and over agian... Zzzzzzzzz LOLOL!

Good morning! Quick one from me. School is wearing my kids out! I got home at 5 and Sydney was so fussy. Nothing I could do pleased her. At 5:30, she fell asleep. She's still sleeping! This from my child who NEVER sleeps. The last time she slept like this was September 1, 2005. It was the day that we got her. The emotional exhaustion took a toll and she fell asleep in her crib in the hotel and slept all night. Never slept in a crib again! She's not my good sleeper...but last night...wow! And Shaun stayed awake for supper and spelling word practice (today is his first quiz). He was in bed (again on his own) by 6:30. Insane!

We have a big weekend planned. Going to Minneapolis once I get home tonight. It's the 4th annual Hubei girl reunion. Each year, there is a reunion of some of the families that traveled to China together to bring home our girls. It's so much fun to see people again...and to see the change in the girls each year. Then Monday, we are celebrating my dad's 80th birthday. He won't be 80 until Tuesday but my niece can be home from college if we celebrate on Monday so that's what we are doing. I made a gallon of homemade ice cream last night to get ready.

Ok...that's me in a nutshell. I'm off to get ready for work. Everyone have a wonderful 3 day weekend and I'll see you when I get back on Monday!

LindaS...What an awesome trip!! I bet it's fun and so heartwarming!! and congrats to your dad on the 80!!! I hope you have a great weekend!!

Dawn....Hi sweetie....your Disney trip sounds like fun...I want to go!! I know you and Amanda will have a ball!! can't wait to see the pics!! make sure you get one with Mickey!!! and I will take good care of Davy!! LOL!!! I would if you lived close to me!!!

Ladies...I hope you all have a fab day!! and a Fab long weekend!! We normally do a big family (like major extended family) get together, but it's not happening this year....I think it's in the works for late September. DH and I are planning on a trip to Natural Bridge...about 40 minutes away...I love it there it beautiful...great nature walking and they have a safari drive through...if we do it...we usually take the kids to that. Then a small cookout at Mom and Dad's on Monday. I am really hoping my crazy SIL doesn't show!!!

Everybody must be away for the long weekend. I didn't even realize there was one till about an hour ago. I had to go dig out Atha's school schedule to see if she got Monday off. I was asking her, "is this a long weekend? Do you get three days off?" Needless to say, she was completely baffled.

Ugh, we slept 10 hours last night. Both girls were asleep by about 11, then I watched... what did I watch? Well, Project Runway, and then I read for awhile. Anyway. So both girls came into my room around 6 am and snuggled up in my bed, and we all fell asleep again till I forced everybody awake at 9:45. Crazy crazy.

I feel like I should be up and running laps, ya know? With all this energy. But instead I'm like, pbbbppfftt!

Eh, whatever. LOL. At least we have ice cream!

hey girlies!! I have been running ALL day...well, I actually took a long nap in the middle of the afternoon 3:30-5:30, so I'll be up all night...especially since I'm drinking Coca-cola!! (my fave!!!)

I went delivering Sunday School material and Stampin' Up! stamps and stuff to a bunch of people this morning/early afternoon. It was so fun! i got to sit and visit with all but one girl (who was at work!) and then when I got home, MR GORGEOUS was home!! yay!!! It's been a tough week without him. I'm okay with him going..a lot better than i used to be, but i'm thinking it's getting harder and harder for him to leave. We both have such a hard time sleeping apart..so I'm really looking forward to sleeping again!! LOL!! and Lil can wake him up instead of me this next week!! hahahahah!!

i see everyone is already partying this weekend. I know Clara went on her fun camping/dave Matthews band concert weekend. And we are going to have a fun pool party on Monday. The hardest part for me is NOT inviting all of my friends!! But we just want to keep it simple, right????

sooooo...I guess I'm gonna get to scrapping. I have some projects i wanna finish...on my list of challenges for the month!!! and I know what spotlights are coming up!! heehee!!! :) I also have some Cheery work to do...ohhhh the CheeryOs have some really really exciting stuff coming up!!! and some announcements coming up soon, too!! You girlies are gonna love how the O is whipping us scrappers into shape, huh?

ohhh and I HAVE to get into that gallery....I'm gonna go and do that first...i LOVE the inspiration!! :)

Safari drive through???? eeeeek!!!! I wanna come! I love stuff like that :).
ooooh, We shoulda made plans to meet at Disney...that would've been sooo cool! Course, then who would've watched Davy? hmm....LOL
 
I'm not doing much of anything this weekend. DS moved out tonight.... :( it was so sad.
He was a little nervous/sad/excited all in one LOL. DH and I are trying to find a used washer for him and we're giving him our dryer and getting a new dryer for us. Other than that I'll be hanging out here scrapping, doing challenges!!! Then next weekend getting ready to go to Disney, yippee!
