Oscraps

A Resolution

SaraTips & Techniques

The end of the year is approaching fast.  And we all know what that means.  Time to reflect on the past year, pull out the top ten lists, and most of all…make resolutions.

I am not a huge resolution person.  I usually attempt something, get a couple of weeks and then fizzle out.  Even with my scrapbooking.  I never attempted Project 365…I knew I could NEVER pull that one off!  LOL  52 Inspirations is much more my speed, though admittedly, I don’t think I ever hit 52!  hee hee

But after events of the past week, I have become more determined to make sure my family’s life is documented.  And not just on Facebook.  So let’s all get to thinking about our goals.  Are you wanting to document every day?  Every week?  Every month?  Is your goal to make sure you get pages printed and in an album?  Or put yourself in more layouts?  What about adding more journaling to pages so the stories are passed on?  Whatever you goal  is, the shop has tools that can help you out.

If your goal is Project 365, check out these wonderful kits and templates.

If you really want to work on a weekly basis, 52 Inspirations has you covered.

Going for a monthly round up?  Check out these templates and tools.

And if you have a goal of making sure you are scrapping quickly so you can get things printed, check out the quick pages and albums part of the shop.  Templates can help too!  There’s even a section called “Fast and Easy”!

Is journaling a goal?  We’ve got lots of journaling cards and tidbits to add to your pages.

No matter what your goal is, remember to keep it fun and don’t beat yourself up if you miss a goal.  Keep it simple and do a little bit at a time if you need to.  Don’t feel like it’s a chore to take away from your daily life.  Documenting our memories is important, but making the memories is the most important thing.
