With Christmas on the way ... What is you favorite Christmas story

I remember when I was a young girl and went to Sunday School, the teacher there told the most amazing stories. I remember the exitement, the silent listening, the staring at her lips as the words came out.
Unfortunately I don't remember the stories she told.
I do remember the story A Christmas Carol.
I don't know when I first heard or read it. But I love it still.

What's your favorite Christmas story?

The account of Mary visiting her cousin Elizabeth (also expecting) and the child lept in her womb at the nearness of the unborn Christ!

I like how Shepherds ( on the very low end of society in those days) were the first to hear the good news of the Saviour's Birth.
