Who is going to watch the Super Bowl?

Not me.
(Without getting too activist-minded, I prefer not to have anything to do with the NFL, not in a long time. I hate what is happening to the players brains and how they knew that this was happening to them and did nothing about it.)

I used to watch for the game a long time ago. When I was a kid, I was a Steelers fan and my brother loved the Cowboys. That made for some "heated" viewing heh. When I got older, I watched for the commercials. They used to be really good, now it feels like you would get a couple of good ones, mixed in some that made no sense. (Dorito Baby, anyone? Ack!)

Do any of you go to or host a party? Whp are you all rooting for?

Not me, but that is because we don't have super bowl here!

we have our own football, almost the same name, different game
and that season just started the second half of the competition.

Hope you all get to watch an exciting game!

We are cord cutters and don’t get CBS over the air, so I won’t be watching. Now, if the Cowboys were playing I’d resubscribe to CBS All Access just to watch the game.

Go Rams!

I don’t watch except for the half time entertainment. We’ll be at a party and the guys will watch while the women will hang out and chat and eat.

I read an article on why it is so popular to hate the Patriots. It is funny since I really have that same visceral reaction even though I don't follow the NFL anymore.

Who is the halftime entertainment this year?

Nope. Not watching! I'm disgusted with the whole NFL for a few years now. I have better things to do, especially when I don't like either of the teams. haha I may have watched had the Saints been in it. :) I do, however, usually still make my Super Bowl Sunday recipes. This year is a little different I'm adding a new taco soup recipe. Its cold outside. haha

'We don't have Super Bowl here, like Diane we have football. That's a pretty big deal over here.

But you have me intrigued, what is happening to the players brains?

It is so sad-- Traumatic Brain Injury from getting hit in the head repeatedly. And the NFL knew this was happening and tried to cover it up

It is linked to violence in players and to suicide. NFL players, and I think some college players too, have been donating their brains after they die.

I have never been a football fan but watched the Superbowl when we were at or hosted a party. I would watch it for the commercials but these days you can end up seeing most of them on social media either before or after the game.
