What are your plans for Mother's Day weekend?

Our church is having a ladies luncheon this Saturday and then Sunday they will have some gifts for the mothers. Our daughters and granddaughters are coming to the luncheon with me. It was so cute, my ten year old granddaughter asked her mama what a "lunchathon" was! She got it confused with luncheon! Lunchathons do sound like they would be fun! I hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day!
 
My oldest granddaughter asked a couple of weeks ago if she could host our Mother's Day Brunch this year! She will do it up right - we're looking forward to going to her house. We always start out with Mimosas and have an Egg and Sausage Casserole, hot rolls and some sweet treats.

Oh, Cheryl! What wonderful family traditions! It's wonderful that your granddaughter wants to host this year and carry on this wonderful family tradition! Our daughter-in-love can't make it to our ladies luncheon so our son's family is coming over Sunday after church. I'm blessed to be able to see all three of our kids this weekend! :heartpumpred:

Yes, you are blessed, Evelyn, and so am I. My daughter, granddaughter and I all went to get our manis and pedis today. We just love spending time together. Happy Mother's Day!!!!:heartpumpred::heartpumpred::heartpumpred:
 
Trying out a new restaurant at the beach this weekend. They have a buffet and my son loves buffets. I'll be missing my daughter (who is in Germany on a Study Abroad trip) but the guys will make me feel special I'm sure.
 
I am hosting brunch here for my parents and my ILs. Bagels, a breakfast Dutch baby, hashbrowns, vegan coffee cake, regular and vegetarian bacon, and a cheese and fruit platter. And of course mimosas!

I know it's not the same as with Linda but I'll be missing Scott who has to work but Caitlyn and Tom will be here for part of the day at least. I think they are going to his mom's for dinner.

It's all the same @faerywings. Anytime that we should have them with us and they can't be...well it's just hard on a mama's heart!
