Weird/odd interests or hobbies?

So - hubby & I was talking, and I realized how WEIRD we would sound if anyone heard us. At the moment, due to a book he's writing, hubby's really into Swedish 18th century trade laws (I mean - who cares about them, really??? LOL), and I am trying to keep up with this year's Jehovah's Witnesses' annual convention. No - we're not JW - I'm just obcessed with them. LOL

Hubby's interest in history is a spin-off from his genealogy research. My interest for JW started when I was studying theology at Uni, and wrote my thesis on their teachings about Jesus. I'm really into different religions, teachings and theology, and read a lot of books, watch many documentaries & follow tons of Youtube channels. Which is even more weird, since I'm an atheist. LOL

Got me thinking: what odd/weird interests or hobbies do you have? I guess we all could answer digital scrapbooking - at least here in Sweden, I really have to explain that for everyone - I mean, even ordinary scrap booking is not commonly known here.

Tell me - what makes your brain happy?

That is fascinating for Urban's research but not something I would get interested in either. :D

I don't think I have *any* interests or hobbies let alone anything weird. Scrapbooking and puzzles are about as far out as I get. I am going to have to think about this one!

I'm not going to say anything about having a skeleton as a dress up doll ... Nope. Not mentioning Braxton at all here. Nothing weird about that ... LOL
 
Well it's not really a hobby, but maybe it sounds weird for some people, but I go into the garden every day to see if the flowers (after they have been sown) have grown :D and once they are big enough I check if there are any buds coming or if they already blooming.

Every day?! Gee, I can't remember when I went out in my garden last. LOL But I guess I'm the weird one here. I hate my garden. All we ever do is arguing about it, and noone does anything. I wish we didn't have it, really.

I have a friend at works who's obsessed with dog videos too. Everytime I work together with her, she has a new video to show me. When I had instagram, I had a favorite pet that I followed: https://www.instagram.com/lucy_thepig/

I do that too- and I talk to the bees that are buzzing around :)
ETA: Eva, I do that every day but I am also outside with the dogs several times a day so it's kind of a win-win
 
Darn it, Cindy! I knew I should have clicked that link. Tatum is freaking adorable!!!

Caitlyn and I spent way too much time looking at animal videos but usually only on IG.
Must resist starting with TikTok too

And then you make wonderful photos of them..
 
I've been trying to think of something weird or interesting, but I don't really have anything. A long time ago, I had a weird hobby, though. I used to paint those little match boxes - they probably don't even make them anymore. They were SO cute and I painted little flowers and decorations on them. I used to paint rocks, too.
