Hi ladies!!

Once again...I was up at 4 am!! UUGGHH!! Now the kids are up and I am so sleepy I can't stand it!!...

I am off in a few to take them to see their Mom...and I will be back with a tilesaw...my Son-in-law will be here to lay tile in our bathroom when I get back. I plan on cleaning and tossing out quite a few things today....my house is getting too overloaded with JUNK!!

Congrats to all you ladies that are sporting the new bling!!!! How AWESOME!!!!!!

What is everyone's plans for the weekend??

Be back later!!!!

Early Morning ladies!

Hunting season here so my hubby was up at 4AM..........which means I woke up too! (Not a fan of hunting season and not a fan of 4AM.)

I'm meeting some friends for lunch today. We all celebrated recent birthdays so will spend a long lunch laughing and chatting. Love to drag my birthday celebrations through the entire month of November. Works for me!!

Nana, hope you get much accomplished and that new tile in place.

Yes, congrats to all you wonderful Cheery O's! As someone pretty new here at the O I so very much appreciate how kind and welcoming and included you make us new scrappers feel..........Thank you, Congrats, and ENJOY all the fun!

Have a great day!

'morning. Linda, it's nice to know that someone else is a "nightcrawler." i woke up at 4:30, but i refused to get out of bed. eventually i fell back asleep. TG i don't have a job outside the home and that my kids are grown. i would be a crabby zombie. HA! i think i AM generally a crabby zombie!

i invited my BIL and SIL over for dinner today for a little entertainment. making BBQ, coleslaw, oven fries. gotta think of something else for the menu. no one likes dessert, so i won't have to think about that. gotta go to the market to get the pork roast soon so that i can put it in the oven for 6 hours.

all the leaves i blew to the back of our property have decided they wanted to be right back where they were before i blew them back there. sigh...looks like a few hours with the leaf blower now. hubby will NOT pick up those leaves and put them in the woods. he's of the opinion that they'll go "away" by next spring. that used to be sort of true, until he started planting OAK TREES, whose leaves NEVER go away, as far as i can tell.

next week i'm having roofers swarming all over my house. at least they'll be outside, and we'll finally have a new roof. gotta get all this stuff done before my hubby retires and we have no money!

great new crop of Cheery O's, eh? they'll fit in well with the Established O's. love you ladies!

YAY!! it's SATURDAY!!

Morning all...

4am? y'all were late! I had a potty visit at 3:30 but went soundly back to sleep. Glad there are no hunters round here!

Phylis - how about a composte bin - 4 pallets just nailed together would save you repeating your work.

Well back to packing up the food to take. I always forget something but it's all available there...just at a higher price. btw, the turkey I planned to have cut in half. Still whole. The butcher said they don't do that because of cross contamination. I think it was just that he had cleaned the butcher area! Oh well.

ciao all.

LOL to all the 4am'ers....me too up at 4:15am. I really wanted to sleep in today after stressing all day yesterday. Stayed home to have the car looked at and hopefully fixed, no closer to finding out the problem with it. Will be running another test this morning on it, hoping we find that it is a problem with the starter, if not he (my mechanic) says it will be harder to search out what is wrong with it.....he did get new brakes and the low coolant problem fixed. The other thing we did was schedule the GE repair man to come out and fix the dishwasher and freezer....let me just say yesterday was one expensive day.....

On the bright side, I am now a cheery O and loving it. Want to thank you ladies for making it special with all of your well wishes...

Today or tomorrow will be getting the gray washed right out of my hair and a trim. Will start our Christmas shopping for the grandkids, really want to get everything done by the end of the month so I can just enjoy December and all the festivities.

Looks like all of you will be busy this weekend as well.....enjoy!

Morning sweet "O" ladies, I too was up very early this morning 5am :faint: I am not an early morning person !! Its bad enough I have to get up early during the week, you think I could sleep in on the weekends, but NOOOOOO! So I will be a grump for most of the day. ( I just love that smiley!! ) Anyway we plan on hitting Costco sometime today to get things for hubby's Christmas party happening at our place this coming weekend. So not ready for it yet, but I guess I better get that way huh?

Nana Linda - Your comment on my layout with my daughter in it made me smile, you said that she looked just like your daughter... perhaps we really are related?? Sorry you are feeling so tired today, hope you get your purging done today, its good for the soul!!

Phylis - darn those leaves!! The nerve of them coming right back into your yard!! LOL Everyone around here burns the maple leaves, I hate that!! But they are allowed to do it for a few months, so lots do. Makes for some very smokey days! Your supper sounds yummy!! Have a great time!

Maureen - I'm usually up at that time for a pee break too, but this morning it was 5am and no going back to sleep for me, the cat was also making noises for me to feed him. Too bad about your turkey, bet he just didn't want to clean the slicer again!!

Fran - Hope you find out whats up with your car!! Isn't it great to be a CherryO!! Loving the new bling and looking forward to working with you and getting to know you better!!

Well better hit the shower soon and get ready to go shopping ugh!! Have a great weekend everyone!!

I actually AM a morning person. If I'm still in bed at 5am, I must be sick. BUT...I stayed up WAY too late last night playing around in the Oscraps challenge forum, and then ended up watching a movie, so I didn't get to bed until around 3am. Oh well, it seems the exhaustion today was worth it as I had fun completing one of the challenges, and the movie was one I'd forgotten how much I loved. :)

I too was up early...was so excited to do my first Cheery-O layout, which I can't show cause it's for something coming...which means I need to do another one. :-)

I have a crafty weekend planned, and of course getting the house cleaned.

Started on Christmas photo books and hope to do some present crocheting in front of Harry Potter movies tonight.

ABC Family is doing a HP movie marathon in conjunction with the release of the last movie on DVD.

Back to my books...

Stef, tell me the movie! i'm looking for some new ones to love.

Maureen, you have no idea how many leaves there are on 2 1/2 acres! there's not a bin on earth that would hold them all. what's required is an enormous piece of plastic. i then put the leaves onto the enormous plastic and hubby is supposed to drag it back to the woods and dump them. he won't bother with the last step anymore, which kind or screws up all the other steps.

honestly, i think we should all have a big honkin' party at 4 a.m. one day. might as well have good company in the middle of the night!

Hi everyone - really been MIA today. It's "Archive Day" today ... I had no idea, just happened to see it ... and this means that one genealogy site is free today and tomorrow (normally it costs about US$30/month to use it). So I'm digging deep into the archives looking for ancestors. Usually I go to the library and do this, cuz there I can do it for free, but it's so much better to do it at home.

And please don't tell anyone I have ancestors from Norway ... it's so embarrassing

Evening all from Lumberton NC tonight. (Hello Fayettteville ladies!)

Gosh, I feel as though I'm the only one here who's not on a CT or is a Cheery-O. Oh well, you all need the farm team too, right?!?!?!

I'd forgotten what a pita it is to drive this time of year, with a lot of it right into the early setting sun. We usually take 2 days to drive to Hilton Head, because I told Dick we're too old to rush and drive when we're tired. He finally agreed and my body is happy to break up the day of sitting.

I'm going to install my PSE10 tonight and then hit the sack. It was $79. minus a $30 coupon, with a $25. Linda Sattgast video included, plust a coupon for 100 prints at Costco. That is my kinda shopping. Even better is that I'm married to a man who truly loves upgrades as much as I do.

Cy'all tomorrow!

Okay....the tile is all layed....grouting tomorrow...Monday...STRIPPING WALLPAPER!! ....guess who gets to do that? YUCK!!!

Stef, tell me the movie! i'm looking for some new ones to love.

Phylis - well, it is one of those movies people either like or dont, it seems, not too much middle ground. It was The Village. It isn't that any one part of it is spectacular (although, the lead female is one tough cookie) but I really like when a director or author tells me a story that makes me go "WOW!" at the end. So many twists and turns and I never would have guessed the way it played out.

Am I the only night owl on the boards this time of day/night? :D
Today was uneventful in our house... tomorrow looks like more of the same.

I saw that one, definately a different twist in the end....did have it figured out about the middle of it....

Up early again. Got a bunch of Christmas shopping out of the way. Bought a new Christmas tree for this year, it is smaller around and will fit better in the space we put it in. Didn't have time to get my hair done, so will do that today....

Have a great day ladies!

Hi Everyone - I did challenges at DD yesterday... and then cleaned them up to post here this morning. In the creative challenge here we were supposed to try highpass to sharpen the photos for the gallery.. I tried it but there was another little thing that blew my mind camera distortion... I was doing pages from the dollhouse to show another scrapper and wanted them to be as big and as good as possible.

I recognized that since i just got here my stash is seriously limited - now why didn't I get that last week when the sale was on. Katie blended photos using her blendables - there is so much artsy stuff I can do now - I never tried all these blending things til Janas class... I played with Annas stuff this morning - off to do the real world stuff oh digital is so much easier.

Maureen have a safe rest of the drive - I thought you were already at Hilton Head.

everyone else have a great weekend!

Morning "O" friends, I actually slept in this morning  until 8:30 I feel so much better today! My MG and myself are hoping to get the last of the yard work done today, we have a couple of hanging baskets to take down, (they still look pretty good) and some cleaning up to do on the front porch, cobwebs and such. Then a trip to the dump to get rid of garden waste, luckily they do not charge to take that, it goes into a huge compost so it environmentally friendly . Not too much else happening today. Spent waaaay to much at Costco yesterday, but most of it was for MG's Christmas party, so we will get that money back.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday!! Off to leave some love around the "O" such an inspirational place to be!!

Nightynight peeps! I am finally in Hilton Head, with the sound of the ocean out the door and windows. I'm just about to watch the new PBS show with Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson. He revisits the lover who left him 15 yrs ago. (Maureen says...Hint! Hint! Alan...never go back!!) I'll see if he listens ...and maybe he shouldn't!

cy'all tomorrow.
