Thanks, Diane. The tree is books as it is in the library at the historical society. Last year they went from using an artificial tree to creating one with a set of large green-bound books and some red and yellow ones as accents.

I procrastinated doing it, lol. 1.5 more weeks to go. Too bad we don't get a breather before it starts again!!

They are indeed beautiful pages! I know what you mean about no breather before it begins again. I'm still dithering about keeping it up, but if you all do, it will make it easier for me.

i can't not do it, so many memories recorded this year. I spent some time last night going through all my Pl pages from the last 2 years and was overwhelmed with gratitude.

It is indeed a wonderful feeling to go back and look at the pages, I would miss that.
There are even some people in my life, friends of family and such, who want to 'make the book'. Last year when my daughter's boyfriend 'made the book' he considered that special
I have started the process to get ready to print...thought I would mention it in case anyone else has or needs tips. My list so far:
- spellcheck and read for context
- check the font and size
- check date formats (eg Jan vs Jan. vs January vs number format...trying to be consistent)
- put a number on each photo (always wanted to do this, going back and doing it now, numbering the photos from 1 to 365)
- check for the month and week #
swapping the Instagram logo for a smaller one (~3/4" instead of 1 1/4")
- looking at balance, white space, enough documentation, shadows, etc
I'm on week 8

Diane, that sounds very ambitious! Also sounds like a really good idea that will make your book even better.
