We Got Our First Snow!

We got our first snow last night. Mind you, it's only a dusting but we will take it! In Tennessee we get snow but it is usually later in December with most coming in January. We did have snow one Easter here which was unusual. I would love to have a white Christmas! Do you get lots of snow, or, any snow where you live? I envy those who regularly get snow on Christmas!
 
Here in SE Michigan we got our first snow about a week ago. It didn't stick around long, just enough to have the salt trucks come out to treat the roads. We don't often get a lot of snow before Christmas, either, but this year has been different.
 
How wonderful. We had snow, but only for a day. I can't remember the last time we had a white Christmas. Would be great though!
 
We don't see much snow here in Oklahoma, typically we get ice! If we get snow, it's usually after the first of the year.
 
I have snow but what was shocking was the rain today. Its all gross and yucky. Next week well have more snow so here's hoping.

Rain does make for messy conditions for sure! When it rains, our big dogs track in so much mud and make the floors such a mess. It is better when it's snow. Then it's just wet but not muddy. I bet you get lots of snow! Alaska is so beautiful!
 
We had our first snow of about 1/2" when we woke up yesterday, too! It all melted when the sun came up, except for the areas that stayed in the shadows all day because it was so cold.....unusually cold for NC.
 
We've had a few flurries, but that's about it. We have rain predicted for next week, and with the drop in temps, we'll have ice. I prefer snow to ice any day.
 
I'm so happy for you, Evelyn. I would love snow for Christmas - then it can be gone. We usually get some snow in February. January is usually pretty decent weather.
