Using a .jeg as icon for a file, MAC & PSE

I am on a Mac using PSE. If I want replace my plain folder icon with a photo, I click on the photo to copy it , then do a "get info" (command I) which brings up a box showing two plain folders icons plus other info. I then click on the plain smaller icon to copy the photo onto the on to the folder cover. I have been doing it like this for years and it seems there ought to be a better way to do this. Any suggestions? It is quite tedious when having to do this for many blank folder files.

I just found the answer on a Mac forum and unfortunately, that is how it has to be done. I am sorry for not checking on the Mac site first, but you guys are SO FRIENDLY. :blabla:

I use a free program called Image3icon - you can Google it. Very easy to use and FREE!
