YAY!!! It's almost the 4th of July!!! WOOOT!!!!

I only have a minute...My kiddos are down for their naps...and I have to get some work done!...but of course I had to check in first!! HAHA!!

I see no one else is checking in today!!

HOPE THAT MEANS YOU ARE ALL HAVING FABULOUS WEATHER AND ARE DOING FUN STUFF!!
 
I'm feeling better today that I was yesterday. I will be eating healthy from now on... well, for the most part. Trying to decide what I want to eat for lunch. I'm definitely hungry!
No plans for the 4th. I think we'll just go out back and watch what we can see of the post 4th fireworks like we did last year. *sigh* Vince wasn't here then, either. He was in Charleston, SC loading boats. Oh well, we'll be seeing him before we know it, and we won't know what to do with him, he's been gone so long! Yippee!

So my dad (my stepdad actually, but he's been around so long he gets honorary status) is Dutch, and this morning the Dutch beat Brazil in the World Cup which is a very big deal indeed. Go Netherlands!

That's about all I have for now. I think a seafood melt for lunch? Sound good?
 
I'm here!

So last night I twisted my ankle. Not fun especially considering I had a 3month old session this morning so had to be standing on it all day so far, (it has been in a brace). Luckily I work by myself, so I've now taken off my shoes and socks while I'm sitting here at work, so it is feeling a tad better.

In other news.. still waiting to hear when I get to go do my cousins newborn pictures. Hoping it is this weekend!! She's absolutely adorable & today she is 9 days old.

Lalala...Oh.. A couple days ago my PS CS3 Suite decided to die on me. Don't ask me why. It was working 1 min, then the next time I opened it it didn't want to cooperate. So that ate a whole day while I uninstalled and got a new program to take its place. I now have CS5 and the whole interface is different that what I'm used to. Once I get the hang of it again and try out some of the new features I'll let you know how I like it.

I haven't been in here in a while, so I think I'll just blab!

My sister comes home next Wed with her bf for a few days. My aunt from Alaska comes in on Thursday for a couples weeks. We have a HUGE, (read like 70 people), family dinner planned for the 10th while lots are in town. So now we are cleaning out the barns and making lists of things we need, and cleaning the house since my sisters bf is staying with us. So lots on that list!

I'm nearly done with getting all my pages & covers together for my two, 200 pages books! I'm hoping that I can order these tonight or tomorrow and hoping they get here before the 10th, (doubt it, but a girl can dream!).

Okay. That's all for now. Going to play in PS today and avoid my work!
 
Happy early 4th of July to my American "O" family :americanflag hope you all have a great long weekend and enjoy the fireworks :thumb: We celebrated our holiday "Canada Day" yesterday so kind of got ripped off of a long weekend :violin:, but still so proud to be :canada:
Elisa...take care of your poor foot girl! twisted ankles can be so painful, hope it feels better very soon. :kiss:
Andrea: no more of that MickeyD's for your :preggers: :nono: its never good for you at anytime. Your seafood melt sounds so much better Yummmm!!

Elisa - Aww I am so sorry about your ankle....that hurts!! ((hugs)) Wow 70 people dinner!! That is huge!! Wow you are my hero....you are almost done your books? I still have soooo much more to go :) One day....

Okay back to scrapping while the little one is occupied!!! Must feed my scrapping obsession before I implode!

Hello ladies! Wanted to stop in to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July! Things slowing down a bit here... Really, I just need to speed up! :-) Hope everyone is doing well. I'll try to get a "catch up" post in here this weekend.
 
Kat- I had some white albacore tuna mixed with mayo and Mrs. Dash leftover from yesterday's lunch. So I diced 1/2 a tomato and mixed that in, and then I chopped up some celery and poached it and some shrimp in chicken stock and old bay. Chopped up the shrimp (because they were big) and tossed them and the celery in with everything else, extra dash of old bay, then schmeared the whole thing on 1/2 a french roll. Little cheddar cheese on top, and then in a 400 deg. oven till the cheese melted. Would have been better with less tuna and more crab, but ya takes what ya gets. LOL
