Oscraps

Switching scrapping software...

I can totally understand the reluctance to switch programs! I'm not familiar with Affinity at all. Is it similar to Photoshop? I haven't worked with Photoshop yet, although I've often thought about switching. Partly because Anna A. offers workshops that I'd love to attend, or because the challenges sometimes require new techniques that I then have to skip or modify. And of course, because all the other girls always create much nicer layouts than I do. It must be the programs themselves.:p
I've been working with Corel Paint Shop Pro for over 23 years, currently using the latest version. I'll just keep thinking about it and happily continue working with my current program.
What are you talking about? Your gallery is filled with awesome pages. (But I understand how you feel. I always feel like everyone creates better pages than I do.)

Thanks so much, Cindy! :lovey3:
But sometimes I think I'm lagging behind in my development. I would love to hear an "Ohhh" or an "Ahhh" for a messy layout, where such great blobs, lines and dots are arranged in a messy, disordered way. You know what I mean?
We really have artists here who have mastered this perfectly.

we all feel like that sometimes... and hey, I'm just looking through your gallery - you rock!
Thank you so much, Olga! I wasn't fishing for compliments, not at all! Sometimes the grass is always a little more green on the other side of the fence. Luckily, I rarely think like that; instead, I happily work on my layouts. Each of us has our own unique style, and we can all learn something from each of us.

Sometimes I think it's as you said, where the scrappers have mastered artistry. But other times, I think it's the fabulous designers here who have created artistry and some of us scrappers just use that to our advantage. :giggle4:
