Oh! I wish I had the monthly shots a few months ago when I was working on my 2010 year in review album. They would have been perfect!

I purchased your Snap! Monthly template lasts night However, I have no idea how to use it. I've never really learned how to use templates and sure would appreciate some really elementary instructions. I have PSE 8 w/Windows 7. Thanks much.

taylor has a lot of tutorials on her blog, here's a tutorial for
layered templates
http://taylormadedigidesigns.blogspot.com/2006/05/using-layered-templates-in-photoshop.html

and here's some info i copied from a Merkeley Designs tutorial on templates

Always work on a copy so you keep your original intact.
----------------------------------------------------
Directions for PSE and PSCS2
----------------------------------------------------
1. Open your template.

2. Open your paper that you want to use for filling the template.
3. Drag the paper onto your template above the layer you are filling.
4. Clip to your template. (Ctrl+G) for PSE or (Ctrl+Alt+G) for PSCS2.
5. Then merge those two layers.(Ctrl+E)
6. Proceed with the above steps for any other layers to finish making your layout.

Good luck with your template!
