All members that participate, can everyone PLEASE ensure that you read all the rules for this challenge
so that you can claim your challenge points. Thank you! :)

Hi, welcome to September. I can't believe I'm typing that. My name is Jeanne and this is my very first challenge hosting as a Cheery-O.

In the northern hemisphere, September signals that the sands in the hourglass of summer will soon be gone. In Minnesota, summer feels like it's 5 minutes long. The end of July in Minnesota means you are sliding faster down the hourglass, with the start of County Fairs.
  • The theme for this challenge is The Season It Is A Changin'
  • The challenge is to scraplift this lovely layout by @Cherylndesigns
  • Scraplift however you want but please add 3 stacked photos with one framed differently

Here is my layout:
  • I was drawn to the 3 stacked photos with one framed differently and the way Cheryl used the large elements.
  • Cheryl inspired me to do this layout of my granddaughter and her 4H animals at the County Fair. Next stop for the bunny is the State Fair.

RULES:
- Use Cheryl's layout above as your inspiration.
- Please use the theme The Season It Is A Changin' and include 3 stacked photos with one framed differently of the signs that a change in seasons is coming to your part of the world. Please tell me what country or state you are from if you are comfortable doing so.

- No templates may be used for this challenge.
- Please use 80% Oscraps products that are currently in the store.
- Non-Oscraps products or retired O designer products can be used whether the designer is selling elsewhere or not.
- You need to credit all the products used on your layout.
- Your layout can not be used for more than one challenge.
- Your page must be posted in the Challenge 1 gallery by midnight PST September 30, 2024 and linked back to this thread (see below on how to add your linked layout).
- And do not forget to update the CURRENT MONTH'S TRACKING THREAD to be eligible for your coupon.

Adding a linked layout from the Gallery to a thread:
1. Upload your layout to the gallery first. In your forum post click the Gallery Embed icon (little camera).
2. This will open your gallery, simply click on the layout you require, then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the Continue button.
3. Your linked layout is now in your post, the image will appear once you have clicked the Post Reply button.

I'm excited to see your layouts.

I love all of the sepia and aged bronze tones, very creative framing and great quote. Love how the border pops in a little color. Thank you for taking part in my challenge.

Oh my, this sidelined me because I'd never heard of flax scutching & when I looked it up it took me to the festival website and I just had to read it. I'm so happy to hear you liked the challenge your layout is beautiful. Wonderful background choice , it really sets the stage for the festival. Your photos are fantastic. I love the scribbles, it looks like it's mapping someone visiting the festival. I like how the owl is perched on the journaling. Beautiful page, thank you for taking part in the challenge and introducing me to something new.

I loved Cheryls layout and so this was extra fun to copy. I used the elements large and three framed photos.

.
. .This is beautiful, Twin, I love the kit you chose, and those leaves look wonderful, large and turbo charged against the tan background amid the wonky stacked layered papers. Great photos, and the rustic frames suit them perfectly. Great song lyrics, I'm not familiar with that song, it works perfectly here, but it is a tearjerker with that line about snow. ;) I like the paint runs behind the word strips, you showed off this kit perfectly. Thank you for taking part in the challenge.

These are the absolute most exciting fall colors. After 18 years, our seasons changed similarly , and that is exactly the color I wanted but ours didn't come in that color. I would be worried if you could stop smiling. I really like the minimal frames, that sporty red vehicle is a star in it's own right. Great background choice, I like the black paint and the great backdrop it makes. The brown paint is a nice accent and I always enjoy me some sparkle. Thank you so much for taking part in the challenge.

Thanks for the challenge, Jeanne. I made one frame twice the height of the other two. By the time I had worked that out, I had a whole lot going on in the photos, and I didn't see how I could add in all the elements like Cheryl did without creating distraction. :p

These are phenomenal everyone, I just love looking at how you've interpreted the challenge. I know for those who don't have seasons, that "change channels" like mine do, there was an extra challenge for you, and I LOVE the creativity I'm seeing!:yourock::yourock::yourock::yourock::yourock:
