Did that get your attention? :p

My daughter and her boyfriend went to the NY Renassaince Faire this past weekend. One of the things that she enjoyed the most-- no, *the* thing that she enjoyed the most-- was a woman doing a stage routine with her pet rats. My family has had several "batches" of rats and Caitlyn loves them probably more than anything so for her to see a show featuring rats, she was in heaven. After the show, she spoke with the woman, an excuse to cuddle the babies, IMHO. Turns out, this woman has done the routine for America's Got Talent auditions.

Cait shared the videos with me- look at how sweet and smart these girls are!

No, she didn't get past the second round of auditions but that still is pretty impressive to me. BTW- Caitlyn suggests that you ignore the "squeaking" sounds since they were added in afterward. Rats don't squeak like that.

This is so cute, thank you for sharing!
Interesting did they can go to the second round if wasn't the prejudice and this was done with a guinea pig for example?!

I wondered about that too, Felis. A lot of the time, I forget that so many people have such a visceral negative reaction to rats because *I* think they are so sweet and adorable and snuggleable. Caitlyn and I were both pleasantly surprised to hear Simon say nice things about them since he tends to be a jerk otherwise:D

Those were fun videos to watch! I have to admit I'm not a big fan of rats, but then I haven't been around them much. They do have cute little faces and I know how smart they can be.

I will blabber on and on about how cute rats are if you let me, Angie. :D They really have the cutest little faces and twitchy noses. And their hands-- they love Cheerios as treats and they hold onto them with their hands and nibble at them. So darn sweet! Each one has their own very distinct personality too. Every rat we owned has been so different from the others.
