PSE 2023 Just Froze

I was right in the middle of a project and PSE 2023 just froze. I've rebooted my computer twice, and tried to re-download it from Adobe. The re-download won't work because it wants me to save my work first. I can't save my work because the whole screen is totally frozen. Has anybody else had this happen? I don't know what to do. I can't even uninstall it because I get the message that I have to save my work first.

Are you using Windows? If so, have you tried going into Task Manager and killing the task?

Well, I have it up and running again - thanks to task manager. I'm not quite sure what happened, but it magically became unfrozen after a few hours.
