Printing a large image

I have an image that I want to put on my enormous bulletin board at school. It would end up being at least 3.5 feet tall.

I really, really do not want to take the time to redraw it. I really, really do not want to spend a great deal of money on it either.

I know I can get a cheap black and white engineers print that big, but I really want it in color.

What I am wondering is if anyone has tried to use Photoshop or another program to chunk a large image up into pieces for printing that I can then cut out and laminate together at school. Sort of like a mosaic, but with only one image.

Or if anyone else has any other bright ideas for me. :) Anyone?

Yeah I print a lot of banners for the stand. I had to order a large size so I ended up ordering from the site above then another one in a different size from Vistaprint. It comes out pretty decent. Of course what I print out is marketing stuff and not an actual picture. My logo prints out nicely. I think both of my banners cost about $35 each. Buildasign has more sizes available.
