Does anyone use POTD (photo of the day) sites? And if so, which sites & why?

I'm interested in having a suggested "theme" to prompt me to take more photos, the kinda day-2-day stuff that otherwise could get missed ... kwim? I'd be interested to know if anyone subscribes (free or paid) to any sites that give you a subject prompt each day ... i.e. today take a photo that represents circles / rings or a photo that shows joy or sadness ... that kind of thing.

I'm looking forward to seeing what suggestion you guys / gals come up with :photo:
 
OOOH....good question Sue!!! I will be watching this thread!! I would love to check some of this out too....I get so wrapped up in just taking photos of my grandbabies...I forget everything else!!! :tea:

She puts together monthly lists of prompts, and will even email you daily or weekly with the prompt and examples of her or her team's photo demonstrating the prompt.

The prompts are a mixture of everyday plus 'technical' photography shots.

I discovered the site last August, when I was running out of steam, and used the prompts for several months, then found I didn't need them any more.

So I use it more as a safety net...if I don't have much going on I will use the prompt.

It is all free, and the site has lots of other ideas and info.
 
When I first thought I was going to do P365, that was the blog-list I printed out. The ideas are really great, it was just more of me and issues with the P365 ipod app. And I stopped a looong time ago. Remind me next year not to bother :p
