Photoshop gremlins

Has anyone had issues, after doing the latest update, with Photoshop2020?

Whenever I move an element, it leaves a ghosting of that element and you can't click on it so it takes forever to get rid of it. Only after I add another element does that one disappear and then it starts all over when I move the new element. A vicious cycle.

Does anyone have any clues or ideas? It's taking forever to do anything and so frustrating!!!

I am still using Photoshop CS6 so sorry I have not had those kind of problems and not much help to you at all :sorry: Perhaps if you totally close everything down and re-start that might help?? :noidea:

can you check the preferences

Open Preferences > Performance and uncheck Legacy Compositing.
By default, the Legacy Compositing option is off.​

Oh Marijke, thank you so much. It was checked. I have no idea how I did that but I just unchecked it. Hopefully, after I restart PS, it will be back to normal. Thank you! Thank you!
