On my August challenge page, I used a photo of my father-in-law that is more than a little blurry — I had only a few seconds to "capture" the moment". But the photo was very important to the story I wanted to tell, so I used one of my favorite tricks to "rescue" it. Of course, there are other things I might have tried, but this particular trick had the benefit of adding some pop and interest and really emphasized the story.
