I didn't get a chance to exercise this morning, since I had to bring bunny to the vet at 7;30 am. But I went food shopping and I did my Power Walk/Pushing heavy (and bad wheels) Shopping cart up and down every aisle.

That was tiring.
 
One good thing laurie is that the candy bars get smaller and smaller! My kids say that the "Fun Size" ones are not fun at all, they are now "Sad Size."

Yesterday I got in a half hour walk that I wasn't planning on. Caitlyn lost her cellphone somewhere between the bus stop and the house. We made the trip, to follow her steps. Didn't find it though. grrr
 
Got my 2 miles in and tracked my food yesterday. Chris- hope you find the phone, but yeah for getting in unexpected moving!
 
Still no sign of the phone. :(

I did 15 mins on the TM this morning, for .67 mi. Getting started-- now I have to build the momentum.
 
Grrrr definitely got a huge hurdle with my PMS cravings + not wanting to move. I knew this was going to happen, just didn't plan on completely changing my lifestyle RIGHT BEFORE my next cycle. Ugh, bad timing, but I'm being OK so far! I am eating a little too much, but it's things my body is telling me it needs... lol not tons of chocolate! But like things with iron.

My back is killing me from the evil PMS, so I'm just going to walk this week and re-do c25k week one once my body is back to normal.

Jeff update -- didn't manage to get him to start working out again this weekend, so I think I'm going to do a "fitness bank" with him. But, lol, he is eating a bit better... in a way. He's been eating salads, but pouring way too much thai peanut sauce on for dressing. Oh and while I was pouring a bowl of special K for my dinner tonight, he said "By the way, I had like five bowls of that yesterday." "Uhm, honey it's loaded with fiber... I'm surprised you didn't feel full." "Oh I did, and I also had a really great poop this morning when I got home." Ughhh BOYS!!!!!!!!! Good thing we discovered costco carries the special K I like, and it's hugely discounted, so he can have some of my cereal... in moderation.

Meg- what is it with men/boys???

I went to lunch w/ my mom, and she forced me into having choc cake with her. The main food part was good- half sandwich/side salad... but her sandwich was stale, and she returned it. Said she would just have some dessert, which she then picked at while I chowed down. :(
 
Last night - about half an hour or so on the treadmill. The incline is definitely shaping my booty!! I've decided to do a week or two just power walking on the treadmill before restarting couch to 5k, because I need to build up my muscles because of the manual treadmill's incline. I had to take a rest every third of my workout last night because my calves were upset, and I had to stretch them out.

Today - so far - 2.5ish mile power walk with Riley around the city block. I'm still going to hit the treadmill tonight!

I wrote a ton of journalling last night to scrap for my fitness journal, I just haven't had the chance to yet. Totally pumped!!!!
 
Fifteen minutes stretching, and fifteen on the treadmill. No muscle cramps! I had to stop because I discovered series 14 of Top Gear is now watch instantly on netflix... and uhm... I couldn't stop laughing...
 
great job ladies! I haven't done much int he way pof 'regular" excerice,, but I painted for 4 hours on Tues (lots of stretching) cleaned for 4.5 hours yesterday- broake a good sweat then.
Cleaning today and tomorrow!
 
I started to re-start couch to 5k tonight...

and then after the first burst of running and then walking, I had a heart episode and had to stop. I sat down to let my heart get back to resting speed, then got back on just to power walk...

... and I had another episode of tachycardia.

Makes no sense, because I haven't had any triggers lately. I think it means I'm coming down with a cold... or my allergies are so bad it's also triggering my heart. Ugh, I've had a few more episodes tonight just sitting and coding a new site...

Sooo... I'm going to take tomorrow very easy and maybe even Saturday too... depending on if I keep having episodes. Sunday night Jeff is going to go running with me on the track, so hopefully it'll be better then.
 
After three days of the fluttering -- I realized my problem!!! I'm not getting enough iron!!!! So, I'm going to have a nice big steak tomorrow and then go on the hunt for what foods are healthy that will still give me enough iron.
 
Good luck meg- I walked on FRiday, but won't get back to walking again until tomorrow am- then you will see me here everyday next week- no more week off garbage
 
I did it,back on my own quiet little treadmill with my fav tv show and walked for 3 miles- woo hoo- since the scales show what my indiscretion has caused, you will see me here posting frequently!!
 
Two miles on the treadmill - I want to lose 5 pounds by the first weekend in may- so I need to be consistent and add strength training back in my weekly routine!
 
Lonely in here- gardening and housework count- any moving!!

Did my 2 miles this morning- working towards a bag of flour lighter by May 7th! (5 pounds)
