November 30 Days Challenge - Day 27

Love my O Family!
CHEERY O
Welcome and Happy Thanksgiving for those of you in the United States! I hope you have enjoyed your day and were able to share it with family and/or friends! My day began at 6:30 to get the potatoes peeled and chopped and into the crockpot to cook throughout the morning. I've never done it that way, but it worked great! I will certainly do that again! I like my green beans "cooked down" (it's a southern thing) so they were put in a crockpot yesterday. The turkey was put in the oven a little after 9. I cooked it in a cooking bag this time. It worked very well! And the meat was very tender! I also fixed Mac and cheese, stuffing, yeast rolls, gravy and we had pumpkin pie and pecan pie. I sent the leftovers home with the "boys" we had over for lunch. While they watched football, I pulled the rest of the meat off the turkey bones and cleaned up the kitchen. It took 2 dishwasher loads + . Then I played crossword puzzles on my phone while the guys watched football.

Here is my page for today and the last 2 days. 3 more days and my project will be complete. And that also means we will begin the last month of the year 2025! OY VEY! Where did the year disappear?

If you are visiting this thread for the first time today, be sure and check out the first few days for some ideas for a possible 30 days project for yourself! Really, you could probably find some inspiration in all 30 days! That is my hope, anyway! ;)
