so helloooooooo!

I am a Californian transplanted into Omaha Nebraska... I have a husband that absolutely hates the camera, a step son that hides from it, and a 4 year old little girl that LOVES being the focus of my lens!

I have been digital for a few years now and have not looked back since! My soft wear of choice is Photo Shop Elements 5, I do have Photo Shop 6, but some how managed to lose the manual so I mainly use it to run actions...

My DH gave me a Nikon D40 for Christmas last year, and I have since gone photo happy! Still learning aperture & shutter speed, but loving every moment I take my camera out of the bag... now all I need is a new lens! ;)

I look forward to seeing you all on the boards!

I have Canon Rebel xti- and I still can't figure out all of the aperture/speeds etc settings. I try but I just can't keep it all straight in my brain LOL
Props to you for working on that!

Welcome to the O! You'll love it here. I'm only a couple of hours away on I-80 in Iowa. Love what I've seen so far of your gallery. Can't wait to see your new layouts!
