Newbie! From Northern IL - NOT Chicago!

Well, I've been looking around, and really liking what I'm seeing on this site! I only want to be involved with one site (time...) and I think I'm gonna enjoy THIS one!
I'm Jewely (Julie on my birth cert) - and I am married to my best friend for the past 19 years, I have one son, Calvin, who is 19 (we adopted him at 10), and 4 furkids - 2 girl cats and 2 boy dogs... the latest is a 1 year old Golden Retriever - and I'm getting into the "Gold" thing!!!!
I started scrapping in 1996, right after going to the Atlanta Olympics - and have collected just about all there is to collect in the paper scrapping world.
I now am just getting into digiscrapping, and, if I can learn a bit more, I think I'm gonna love it! I've done about 20 layouts, but they are very basic... almost ashamed to have them printed!!!!!
I use PSE 5.0, and mostly scrap my 2 furboys at this stage. My son is living down south, and so I've pretty much caught up on the photos of him!!!!! (digi wise - I still have hundreds of printed photos to get laid down!!!)
Well, I've rambled enough, and Criminal Minds is on, so I'm gonna say bye!:p

Hi Jewely!!!! Welcome to the O!!! You're going to love it here, I assure you!! Can't wait to see your LO's and we'd love to have you in the forums! They're addictive, though, so just grab a cuppa (which we offer daily) and come on in!

Hey there Jewely! I am so happy that you are with us- we are a great bunch of scrappers here and we love company! And if I had to pick just one site, this would be it as well.
Come post in the Daily ooo's in the Chatter forum, so we can get to know you better- Nina makes a mean pot of virtual coffee and Merkee shows up with some calorie free donuts :)

Can't wait to see Lo's of your fur babies! I have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and a rattie so I love seeing other fur babies :) I have a black lab (mix) who hates the water and doesn't retrieve! LOLOL!

And man, I think we forgot to tape Criminal Minds last night! Bummer!

Welcome to Oscraps Jewley, I am pretty sure this will be your new home! Its a great fun place and we dont bite ;)

I also use PSE5 to scrap my pics, so if you have any questions I am sure I could help out, if not, there are a few of us PSE5 users about :)

Jewely...I'm sure if you are looking for one home, THIS IS IT!!! You're going to love it here I'm sure. Everyone is very generous with their praise and their comments on how to improve. If there is anything at all that I can do to help, please let me know!
