It’s time for another challenge from Anna Aspnes. The AnnaTeam selects one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Be inspired, create your own ‘AnnaLift,’ upload your page to the Anna gallery and include it here in this forum thread. Upload your page by Friday 6.15.18 by 8:00 pm EST with the title, ‘AnnaLift. ’ One lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a $5.00 GiftKard to Anna’s shop.

HOW IT WORKS: Each Saturday the AnnaTeam posts one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Check out the inspiration page and decide what speaks to you. Is it the design, the color, the wordART, or maybe the photo? Then enjoy artfully playing—there is no right or wrong way to ArtPlay.

Choose ONE idea to lift or choose it ALL and lift it completely. Be inspired, create your ‘AnnaLift’ and then upload your page to the Anna gallery, plus include it here in this forum thread. It would be great if you could link back to your page in the gallery too!

Anna’s products mix well with so many kits/designers and Anna welcomes you to include these with your Anna Products on your AnnaLift page.

THIS WEEK WE ARE LIFTING:

Corteo by isDK



Electric and shimmering brilliantly describes this week’s lift. An explosion of sparkling color immediately captures your attention. Covering most of the layout, the large photo of aerial acts in a carnival atmosphere from Cirque de Soleil’s Corteo is feast for your eyes. Vibrant, pulsating colors and a myriad of effervescent lighting effects create an enchanted and ethereal ambience for Murao the Dreamer Clown’s funeral parade. A series of LoopDaLoops adds a sense of movement while propelling you across the page. The dream-like design simply is magical. This enormously talented photographer and designer graciously shares her many escapades with us from jeep adventures to dinosaur quarries to birding in the mountains via her perfectly balanced and informative art—and personally I’m delighted to virtually tag along for free.

IDEAS TO INSPIRE: Use ONE or MORE of the following in your AnnaLift layout.
• Showcase a show, a movie, a play, a sports game—any fun event that you’ve attended.
• Use a large photo that covers over one half of your layout.
• Experiment with a lighting effect—glows, light leaks, bokeh.
• Add some shimmer, shine and/or glitter to your design.
• Use a bright background or bold accents—be bold with color.
• Accent with brushwork, splatters, textures, and/or art strokes.

What a wonderful compliment! There are five photos plus the background. The background paper has the pizazz, and the 5 photos from the web were added with various blend modes, so I didn't have to do any extractions. It went together really fast. If you know how it was created maybe it would be easier to be inspired by it.
