Hello aArtists!

It’s Saturday—time for another challenge from Anna Aspnes. The AnnaTeam selects one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Be inspired, create your own ‘AnnaLift,’ upload your page to the Anna gallery and include it here in this forum thread. Upload your page by Friday 3.24.17 by NOON EST with the title, ‘AnnaLift. ’ One lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a $5.00 GiftKard to Anna’s shop.

HOW IT WORKS: Each Saturday the AnnaTeam posts one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Check out the inspiration page and decide what speaks to you. Is it the design, the color, the wordART, or maybe the photo? Then enjoy artfully playing—there is no right or wrong way to ArtPlay.

Choose ONE idea from the page to lift or choose it ALL and lift it completely. Be inspired, create your ‘AnnaLift’ and then upload your page to the Anna gallery, plus include it here in this forum thread. It would be great if you could link back to your page in the gallery too!

Anna’s products mix well with so many kits/designers and Anna welcomes you to include these with your Anna Products on your AnnaLift page.

If you’ve never challenged yourself to an AnnaLift—just do it!
If you’ve never posted or shared your AnnaLift—just do it!
If you have time to leave some love for someone in the gallery—do it too!
(Your kind words may inspire and encourage someone!)

THIS WEEK WE ARE LIFTING: Budapest by Margeda.

This enchanting layout features an illustrative photo effect and radiates a distinctive old-worldly charm. A natural color palette of beige, bronze and black adds even more vintage appeal. The creased-page element and weathered note pages makes you feel like you’re reading a treasured book or looking at your grandma’s travel journal. The subtle stitched framing adds flair without overwhelming the layout. This book would be on my best sellers list!

Thank you, Margeda, for sharing your inspirational design and artistry.

IDEAS TO INSPIRE: Use one or more of the following in your AnnaLift layout.
• Use an architectural building or travel subject as the focal point or as a design accent.
(Hint: lots of architectural brushes available—including NEW Old World Brushes}
• Create an illustrative or sketch treatment for your photo.
• Select a sepia-tinged or natural color palette for your composition.
• Add a creased-book or notebook element to your layout.
• Use a unique element like stitchez to frame your page.

Thank you zlemon, Margeda and the aATeam for this gorgeous inspiration. I didn't have much for suitable photos this trip, but at least depicted a city and used text in my design.

Thanks for the great challenge, I loved Margela's awesome page. I didn't have a great structure to scrap, so I used my sweet daughter :) I found enough inspiration in the challenge...

Love this week's layout and what everyone else is being inspired to create. I can't play today (I must work...ugh) but I hope to play soon.

Lacking a building that inspired me, I instead created a monolith of a bunch of photos from a recent trip and allowed my imagination to be carried away by the book look of the beautiful Lift page and its glorious tones of color.

I used the general layout of big pic with smaller stuff to side. I did it without a template, Yeah!!! But I did use template bits to help me.
