Naming a link

So, I have noticed that a lot you post links to different sites where you have a word in blue and it takes you a website. Usually it says "here" "my blog" etc. I want to do this but don't know how. PLease help me out here. I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Clara! It's easy once you get used to it. You type [ u r l = http://www.whatever.com ] here or my blog or whatever you want it to say [ / url ] all without the spaces. Well, there can be spaces in the text, but not in the code part.

If you want to make a picture linked, type [ u r l = http://www.whatever.com ] [ img ] http://www.whatever.com/something.jpg [ / i m g] [ / url ] (again without the spaces)

I hope this made sense!

There are more codes and instructions here. You can find them by going to the bottom of the posting page, and clicking "vB code" in the posting rules box.

clara you need to change your options.
go to user cp
>edit options
at the bottom (message editor interface) you can scroll to " enhanced interface full wyswig editor".
save changes and you´ll be able to post links as you´ve seen them.
its easy.
after you´ve typed a word you can click at the link icon and you´ll be able to insert the link you want to
hope i was able to help somehow....talking GENGLISH...lol
