I'm guessing y'all are ok, from the severe weather yesterday ...didn't hear Vicki's town on the news - but she may be without power....

There were some tornados in OK and MO yesterday.

Just checking in with everyone....

It's so crazy. Tornadoes in February is bizarre. I don't know about the rest of the country, but we've been having bizarre weather this year.

Hope everyone is o.k.!

They said on the news lots of people don't have power around the "Major City" Vicki lives in....but they haven't mentioned her town - a more rural area got hit.

I'm sure she's fine, and I'm sorry I worried everyone with this post....I just figured, knowing Vicki, she'd find a way to be on-line....even if she had to power the generator with a bicycle and her own feet!

Actually, one yr when working for the paper, we had tornados (2) before Christmas....It just depends upon the whole weather/wind stream and how the mid west reacts....lol....

As long as I don't see the Wicked Witch fly by, I figure I'm ok....just call me Dorothy (grew up in midwest...starting not to get phased by the bad weather...monday night when the warnings were happening, I just went to bed....nothing I can do but pray....)

I for one am not a fan of tornadoes. Especially with little kids to protect.

I have a friend that lives near where one of them hit, she is ok and her family is ok, but pretty scared to say the least.

I hope all of our O's are ok!

It really seems like the whole world is having freaky weather this year. We hear a lot about your atrocious weather in the States and just look at what's happening in Australia. Even here in Britain where our weather is generally predictable (boringly samey, but at least we know what to expect - usually!), we've had our worst winter in the south for 30 years.

Tell me about it Kayla - Nebraska weather is "grin and bear it". We had spring weather today, but it's supposed to snow tomorrow. This morning they said 4 - 8 inches, although I think that may have changed now.
