I almost started this post saying, "Wow! How can October already be half over!?!?" And then
I realized how often I say things like that. It is almost as if the future is gobbling me up!

The quote above reminded me to more proactively "take on the future"
instead of letting the future sneak up and surprise me.
As Maya Angelou says,
