Welcome to Week Four of the March Art Journaling Challenge.
I have been amazed at the different ways everyone has been using the prompt of "Perspective" this month. Each page you have created has been inspiring and eye-opening to me. I hope this process has done the same for you. Since this is the end of the month, it is time for us to do a wrap-up of the previous weeks so far.
We are going to change our perspective on one of the pages we already made.
If you haven't participated yet this month, that is absolutely not a problem. Go ahead, scrap weeks 1-3, and come back when you are done. No, no!! I am just kidding! :joke: You can substitute one of your other pages or use one from the Art Journal Gallery.

Now for the instructions.
Go to the AJ gallery and choose one of your pages. Next, flip it! Change the perspective and then use that to scraplift yourself to make a new page.
You can flip the original page horizontally, vertically diagonally. You *could* flip yourself on your head and view the page that way, but I don't recommend that. ;)
Once you have the page switched up, see how it looks to you. Does it feel any different? Were you able to see something new in the page that perhaps you didn't notice before? Take your time with this step, really dig into the differences no matter how small they might be.
The final step is to scrap one last page for the prompt "Perspective" using that flipped page as your inspiration.

I used my LOs from weeks one and three and I flipped them horizontally. I also use a reflection for the title work to add to the sense of change in perspective.

My four weeks put together:

And now...some Housekeeping:

You can choose to do a single page/tag/TN each week, or do a divided template - one part for each week. If you don't have the Divided Template and would like to have it, you can get it here at Dropbox. Thank you to Ona @wombat146 for providing the template choices for us! If you do the template, we would love it if you would post it incrementally. Post one done in the first week, post an image of the two together on the second, and three on the third, and then the finished page on the fourth week.

Again - the template is NEVER a requirement to use, just something fun and different if you want to use it.

Everyone who participates in any of this month's challenges will be entered into a drawing for a $5 gift certificate to Oscraps. You can receive up to four entries into this month's drawing.

Challenge Rules:
You have until 11:59 p.m. CST on March 31st to complete your pages for this challenge.

  1. To qualify for the drawing, you need to use 80% Oscraps products that are currently in the store (non-Oscraps products or retired O designer products can be used whether the designer is selling elsewhere or not).
  2. You need to credit all the products used on your page.
  3. You cannot use a page you create for this challenge for another Oscraps challenge.
  4. Upload your page to the Art Journal Gallery and then add your layout to the challenge thread. (Below you will find instructions on adding your page to this thread.)
Adding a linked layout from the Gallery to a thread:

  • Upload your layout to the gallery first. In your forum post click the Gallery Embed icon (little camera).
  • This will open your gallery, simply click on the layout you require, then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the Continue button.
  • Your linked layout is now in your post, the image will appear once you have clicked the Post Reply button
I can't wait to see what you create for this week's challenge!

I have only done week 1, so flipped it almost literally including my drawing. Changed the concept somewhat from the end result of art to the beginning of it.

This was week 1

and week 4

MARCH ART JOURNALING – WEEK FOUR – PERSPECTIVE – Thank you for the challenge, I decided to play with week three – started by flipping 2 of my blended backgrounds and quite like the way that it looks like there is an eye looking out well at least it does to me and ended up flipping the elements does give it a complete different look– everything is from – Secret Woodlands – Magical Reality Designs – Fonts – DJB Miss Liz – Calamity Jane

I hope my layout meets the requirements, as the perspective is not turned around on the 2D level but on the 3D level. My What Do You See? (Perspective 2) page shows the view through the glasses (the view in front of the glasses). This page shows a person who looks through them (the view in "the back" of the glasses).
